Buffy and Matt was sitting in the fancy restaurant and eating. Buffy was in a new light blue dress. "So, you like the food?" asked Matt. "Yes. This is really good" said Buffy, taking another bite from her chicken in oranges. "Can I ask a question?" asked Matt. "Shoot" said Buffy. "Why are you in the street, Buffy?" asked Matt. "I... I just had to get away- it's a long story. Maybe I'll tell you all about it someday". Said Buffy. "But a beautiful young girl like you shouldn't be on the street" said Matt. "I know... but..." said Buffy. "If you need to say it..." said Matt. "Oh no. If I'll start talking about it, I'll cry" said Willow. "Then don't" said Matt. "You're so sweet to me. What if I some kind of a monster?" said Buffy. "I'll still love you" said Matt. They got closer and kissed for a long time.


Sunnydale High Library

"Giles?" Willow came into the library. "Hello Willow" said Giles. She looked at him. "What is it?" he asked. "I... Are we going to hunt tonight?" asked Willow. "Um, why?" asked Giles. "We thought about going to the Bronze tonight" said Willow. "Oh, then you go" said Giles "It's not you duty to fill". "Yea, but with Buffy not here and all..." said Willow. "I don't think vampires are going to appear tonight. Maybe just one or two" said Giles. "Yea, after we kicked their butts!" said Willow. "Then you can go" said Giles "I'll go anyway".


"Cafe Ross" in Los-Angeles

Buffy and Matt looked at each other. "I... um" started Matt. "Don't say anything" said Buffy and kissed him again shortly. "I'm in love with you, Buffy" said Matt "I know you might not believe me 'cause I've known you only one day, well, I love you. I guess it was love from first site" he smiled. "Matt" she whispered "I like you, but... this can't go anywhere... I wanna go back- to Sunnydale". "Then I'll come with you, if you want me that is" said Matt "From the first moment I saw you yesterday I was in love with you... I'll go anywhere for you". "You'll do that?" asked Buffy. "Of course" said Matt. "But.." she started "But if it won't work?" "Then I'll leave..." said Matt. "But you can leave everything?" asked Buffy. "Well, I heard there's a pretty good collage in Sunnydale so... um.. I won't have to give up on anything" said Matt. "But what about your friends, your family?" asked Buffy. "I'll come to visit" said Matt "I know we hardly know.. but I wanna know you, I wanna be with you..." Buffy smiled and kissed him again.


The Bronze
Evening

Joey, Willow and Oz were dancing while Cordy and Xander were smooching in one of the corners. "So, Oz, what's your band name?" asked Joey "A dingo ate my baby" said Oz. "Cool" said Joey "Where do you play?" "In some clubs" said Oz "Mostly in here". "They're playing here tomorrow" said Willow. "Oh, wow" said Joey "We've gotta come" "Yea" said Willow "We're going". "You're dancing really good" said Oz looking at Joey. "Thanks" said Joey "I love dancing". She smiled. "You have a beautiful smile" said Oz. "Thanks again I guess" said Joey "You really know how to compliment a girl, and how to charm her". "Well, that why girls love me..." said Oz "No, I'm just kidding". "Oh, no, you're really sweet" said Joey. "Well, I'm sure guys are all over you" said Oz, "Well, um" said Joey "Not that much". Oz smiled. "So you guys play good?" asked Joey. "Yea, they're great" said Willow, trying to fit in. "Well, I don't know... we really suck sometimes. But we're pretty good, and we practice, ya know" said Oz "And one day we're going to enter the scene" he said in a stylish accent. "Oh, yea, I'm sure you will" said Oz. Willow was looking at them. They'll make a great couple she said to herself. Oh, what are you trying to do, girl? totally break your heart? She looked at Joey and Oz laughing of one of Oz's jokes. Oz loves me! She tried to convince herself.


Los-Angeles streets

Buffy and Matt were walking hand in hand."Oh, damn!" said Matt. "What's wrong?" asked Buffy. "I forgot to take some papers from the photography store..." said Matt "We passed that already". "Ok, so why don't you wait here on this bench, and I'll go and bring it for you" said Buffy. "Oh no, it's okay" said Matt. "Come on" said Buffy "After everything you done for me? That's the least I can do!" "Are you sure?" asked Matt. "No problem" said Buffy "Where is it?" "On Eddy's photograph" said Matt "It's right across the street". "Be back in a jiffy" said Buffy. Matt stood and looked at her when he heard a voice behind him- "She beautiful" said the voice. Matt turned around and stood face to face with Angel.


The Bronze

"Wanna dance?" said a voice behind Joey. she turned around and saw Dylan. "Sure" she said. "What's wrong, babe?" asked Oz, coming closer to Willow. "Nothing" said Willow. "Come on, you face says it all" said Oz "Spill it". "Really, it's nothing" said Willow. A quiet romantic song was on.   "Come on, babe!" said Oz, holding her tight, dancing. Willow looked at him. She wasn't sure of it but did he look at Joey just now? "Wanna dance?" asked Xander between the smoochies. "Huh" said Cordy, and they came near Willow and Oz, still kissing. "So?" whispered Dylan in Joey's ear, holding her close. "What?" asked Joey. "I... wanna ask you to go out with me" said Dylan "Will you say yes?" "Yes" said Joey "But I wanna know about you. How can I know you're not some pervert or monster or something?" she smiled. "Well, my name is Dylan Mcay. I'm 17 years old" said Dylan "I live on Kendy road 1631 and I like surfing, basketball, babes and smoochies" he grinned. "Oh, you're an idiot!" said Joey. "Is that a yes?" asked Dylan. "Yep" said Joey. suddenly there was a scream and a big noise from the outside.


Los-Angeles

"Yea, she is" said Matt "she awesome, and she has the most beautiful soul I had aver seen". "You gotta love her" said Angel "You just can't stop". "From the first second, I just fell for her, completely" said Matt, and turned around to see her. "So did I" said Angel "You got a real treasure, give her the best". "What?" asked Matt "Of course, but..." "She deserve the best" said Angel. "Who are you?" asked Matt , and looked behind, but no one was there.


Outside The Bronze

The gang went out to see what's going on. "Giles!!!!" said Willow, looking at him. He was fighting a strong vampire, hurt on his hand. Oz ran right away to help, Xander after him. "Babe, stay there" said Oz "You legs are still weak". He punched the vampire and double kicked him, while Giles took a stake from his bag. "Hey, you're strong" said Xander, trying to catch him steady. Giles swing and leaps on him, making him fall to the ground.


Inside The Bronze

Joey and Matt kissed shortly. Joey looked around. "Where did the gang go?" asked Joey "and what was that scream?" "I don't know" said Dylan "But I think we better check it out". "Yea, you're right" said Joey and they went out.


Outside the Bronze

The gang was still hitting the vampire. Giles jumped at him again, and Oz double kicked him, not letting him to come up. "You shouldn't mess with me!" said Oz "I'm good!". Joey and Dylan showed behind. "Guys. What's going on?" asked Joey. The all gang looked at them, and the vampire got up. "Don't even think 'bout it!" said Xander, staking him. He looked at Joey, confused. "Did that guy turned to dust, or it was my imagination?" asked Joey. "Well, no, he was..." started Cordy. "He was scary, he just, he just attacked Mr. Giles here, the librarian" said Willow, cutting Cordy "But, he wasn't human, he just..." said Dylan. "We don't know what happened, we don't know him, but we just came to help" said Willow. "Yep" said Xander "We're good people". "No, it's okay" said Giles "You can, um, tell them the truth". "Well, how long were you standing there?" asked Willow. "Few seconds" said Dylan. "Well, these were vampires, they're real, lets go back to the Bronze, shell we?" said Cordy. "Cordy, your smoochies can wait for a sec" said Oz "It takes more than that, well, you see, vampires are real, sometimes they live in Sunnydale..."


Matt's Apartment
Later that eve'

Buffy and Matt came into the apartment. "Wow, this place is huge!" said Buffy "And beautiful' she walked around. "Yep" said Matt "I hired an inside decorator to help me". "Are you sure it's okay for me to sleep here?" asked Buffy. "It's more than okay, I want you to sleep here" said Matt "The other room would be good for you" he smiled "You want something to eat first?" "Matt, I still haven't thank you" Buffy grinned "I just... you did so much..." "I love you, Buffy, I'll give you the world!" said Matt.


Minnesota

Spike and Drucsilla were walking. Spike noticed a young pretty girl walking alone. "Well, I think we found ourselves a walking meal" said Spike. Dru smiled. "Oh, look at her..." said Dru "So unaware to what is about to happen to her". "Hold on babe" said Spike. He walked to the girl "Hello. I'm Spike" he smiled "A pretty girl like you shouldn't walk around like this". "Um.." said the girl. "I can walk you home" said Spike. "Thanks" said the girl. Spike put his game face on. "You welcome, cutie" he said and looked at her.   The girl yelled. Spike caught her, and feed a little. "Lets eat, love" said Drucsilla, coming to them.


Outside the Bronze

"Yea, so that was a vampire?" asked Joey, after Giles told her everything. "Yes, that was" said Giles. "And you guys replacing the slayer?" asked Joey. "Yes" said Oz. "You guys are loony" said Dylan. "Yes, we are" said Xander "and that guy turning to dust- just a cheap trick, and his face, he just had a really bad plastic surgery..." "So you're serious?" asked Joey. "Yep" said Oz "I know it's kinda hard to accept it and all". "You damn right" said Dylan "I'm out of here". "Dylan!" said Joey "Their not fooling us or something". "Maybe" said Dylan "But vampires aren't real! There just invented to make something that people can scared from". "So what, are you like saving the world?" asked Joey. "Yep" said Oz "We're great, uh?" "Yes, you are" said Joey. Suddenly another vampire came out behind Joey. "What the hell..." said Dylan. He attacked Joey. "Oh, god" said Oz "Use the stake, in the heart!" he yelled to Dylan. Dylan was nervous, he took the stake and staked the vampire from behind, and the guy turned to dust.


Matt's place

"I wanna tell you what happened, well, sort of" said Buffy. "Then go ahead" said Matt, sitting on the couch "I'm listening". "Well" said Buffy "My life is pretty much screwed up, even though lately I realized how much other people life is worst than mine... I just... I was a total mess, and I just, I can't talk about it right now. All of it, I mean". She decided not to tell him about the slayer yet, until she'll need too. "Go on" said Matt "I just... I just wanna know what brought a beautiful charming girl like you to the street..." "Well, I lost the person I loved the most. I just lost him, in the worst way I could..." she cried. He hugged her. "You don't need to go on, if you can't" said Matt. "No, I'm fine" said Buffy "And I got into a really big fight with my mom, that I hated every second of it, I dropped something really big on her, but I didn't have a choice. I had to disobey, and leave. So she told me that if I leave this place I shouldn't think of coming back..." "Buffy..." said Matt. "And don't tell me she didn't mean it. I know she didn't, and it was the heat of the moment and everything, I just can deal her, or anyone else at the moment, even though I miss her and my friends..." said Buffy, without stopping for a sec. And I miss him the most, but I'll never see him again... "And add the fact that I been suspended from school by the evil troll principal..." "God" said Matt.


Outside the Bronze

"Wow" said Dylan. "Yep" said Joey "That guy, well, vampire, tried to bite me!" "Wow" said Dylan. "You're natural" said Willow "You staked him so quickly!" "Alright, man" said Oz "So now you believe that vampires are real?" he asked. "Yep" said Dylan "I guess, god!" "Yea, yea, yea" said Cordy "Can we come in please ,I'm getting cold, and I love to get inside!" "In a minute, Cord!" said Xander. "Why are they keep on coming here?" asked Willow. "Well, with no leader they don't what to do, and they must feed" said Giles "Come on, come back inside". Matt's Place "Good night" said Buffy and gave Matt a kiss. "Night" he said "Talked to Tom?" "Yea, he just called" said Buffy. "Great" said Matt. There was silence "Good night then". "Night" said Buffy and kissed him long. She went the other room and went to sleep.

Two hours later

Buffy couldn't sleep. She decided to go out and have some air. She wore her jacket and went to the swing on the porch. She sat there thinking. Suddenly she saw him in the dark. "Angel" she whispered. She looked at him "Angel" she cried. He came close to her. "Buffy" he said. "God, are you real?" she asked. "Yes, I am" he answered. "But, I thought I killed you" she said. "You didn't" said Angel "And even if you did, you should have, after everything I did to you...." "Oh, Angel, it wasn't you... god... it was the thing that took you away from me...." cried Buffy. He stroke her cheek, and passed his hand all over her face. "Oh, I already have wrinkles..." smiled Buffy. "I almost forgot how beautiful you are" said Angel "In the day I didn't see you....". "Oh..." cried Buffy, stroking him. "I hurt you so much, and I killed Jenny, and so many people..." said Angel "How can you forgive me?" "Don't..." she said, putting her finger on his lips "'Cause I love you..." "I love you, more than anything..." said Angel. "But how did you? How are you alive?" asked Buffy. "Well, you didn't stake me, you just..." whispered Angel "You just sent to me to hell, and demons, they could..." he stopped and kissed her passionately "Sorry" he said and turned his look. "It's okay" said Buffy. "No, we shouldn't" he said "Demons, they can survive hell, and I was there 'bout 100 years and..." "100 YEARS?!" said Buffy "I... I'm so sorry" "Hush" he said "It's okay...." "Angel, I wanna be with you..." said Buffy and kissed him. "No, Buffy, we shouldn't... it'll just... I already totally screwed your life" said Angel. "My life is screwed up already" said Buffy. "You'll be better with out me..." said Angel "I just... I can't be there with you after everything I did to you..." "Angel..." said Buffy. "You'll be better without me" said Angel. "No, I wouldn't!" said Buffy "Buffy..." said Angel "You're in good hands now..." "But..." said Buffy. "Matt loves you" said Angel "And he'll make you happy". "How did you?" asked Buffy and realized he was following her "But what about you?" "I'll be around" he smiled "Fighting some bad guys!" "Angel, I'll never see you again, am I?" asked Buffy. "Maybe I'll come to visit" said Angel. "I love you" she said and hugged him. They kissed. "I love you too" said Buffy. "Go back to sleep now" said Angel, and Buffy did. Angel looked at her. The most beautiful creature I've ever seen, made by god...Angel thought to himself and the most beautiful soul I had ever seen. The only person ever that I was willing to die for... I love you Buffy.


Sunnydale High Library
Morning

"Hi there" said Joey, coming into the library. "Miss. Taylor, hello" said Giles. "Yea, I love Joey better if you don't mind, Mr. Giles" said Joey. "Not at all" said Giles "And you can call me Giles, the kids call me that way". "Okay" said Joey "I still can't believe what happened last night!" "It's natural" said Giles. "Maybe" said Joey "It's just, wow!" she looked at some of the books on his table "That explains these books..." "Well, yea" said Giles. "So you're the watcher" said Joey "You train the slayer. That's, um, really important job" she smiled "How did you get it, was there an interview?" "Well, no, it's my faith, my destiny" said Giles "I was chosen, like the slayer was". "Cool" said Joey. Dylan walked into the library. "Thought I saw you come in here..." he said. "Yep" said Joey "Will told me that the gang is most of the time here, so I came to talk to Mr. Giles here". "Oh, ok, whatever" said Dylan. "You know, I still haven't thanked you for saving my life" said Joey. "Well, I can think of a way" said Dylan and smiled, Joey smiled too and gave him a long kiss. Willow, Oz, and Xander came into the library. "So I guess you two are a couple" said Oz. "Yep" said Dylan. "Hi Oz" said Joey, walked to him and gave him a friendly kiss "How are ya?" "Cool" said Oz. "Great" said Joey an looked at Willow "Will, you're walking without the crutches" Well, I gotta go" said Dylan "I have a big final test, and I haven't even started to study for it. Bye" "Bye, love, goodbye" said Joey. "Bye" said the rest. Joey turned to Oz and Xander. Willow looked at them. She was jealous alright. She looked at Xander and Oz talking to Joey. Guys never looked at her like that... Joey was just what she wanted to be... tears fell on her cheek. She saw Oz and Xander laughing from something Joey said. "I'm sure of it" said Oz "Aren't you babe?" he turned to Willow, and notice the tear on her cheek "What's wrong babe?" he asked.

Los-Angeles Bus station

Matt, Buffy and Tom were standing in the Matt's car. "So, you got all arranged by now?" asked Tom. "Well, not really..." said Matt "I'll come back next weekend to close all the businesses that I left here... and I'll try to sell my place soon". "Why don't move there?" suggested Buffy. "Child, I already told you. I have a home. Maybe it's without a roof, or even walls, but that's my home" said Tom. "But you don't deserve living on the street!" said Buffy. "I'll be fine, Buffy, really" said Tom. "Well, we'll be leaving soon" said Buffy "I just, I'll never thank you enough for what you did for me". "It was my pleasure" said Tom "You gave me only happiness". "Well, here's my number" said Buffy and gave him note "Call me". "I will" said Tom "And you might try the public phone near my bench, maybe I'll be there". "Thank you" said Buffy. "You welcome girl" said Tom "Here's a little something I wanna give you" he gave her a little present "Come on, open it". Buffy opened the present. Inside there was a beautiful necklace. "It's beautiful" said Buffy and wore it "You shouldn't..." "It's nothing" said Tom "Just don't forget to visit". "I will" said Buffy "But come to Sunnydale sometime". "I will" said Tom. "We should get going" said Matt. "Yes, you should" said Tom. He hugged Buffy and she kissed his cheek. He shook Matt's hand "Nice meeting you, young man" he smiled. "Same" said Matt. "You got a real treasure" said Tom quietly while Buffy was arranging all the packages in the car truck "make her happy". "I will" said Matt "I love her". "I know you do" said Tom. "Bus number 896 to Detroit will be leaving soon " said the voice coming from the speaker. "Well, Bye" said Buffy, and hugged Tom again. "Buffy?" whispered Tom. "What?" asked Buffy. "You didn't told him that slayer thing, right?" asked Tom. "Not yet" said Buffy "Goodbye". "Goodbye" said Matt. "Bye" said Tom "Have a nice summer". They came into the car and Buffy waved Tom.


Sunnydale high library

"Nothing" said Willow "Why would anything be wrong?" she asked. "Well, there's a little tear near your nose, and you have the same sad look that you had yesterday" said Oz. "Yes" said Willow "And I told you yesterday- nothing's up" said Willow. "Come on, babe" said Oz and pulled her to one of the rooms "Now. What's wrong?' "Well" said Willow "You promise not to laugh at me?" she asked. "Yes" said Oz. "Well, it's Joey" said Willow. "Oh yea, she's totally cool" said Oz "What about her?" "Well, you two get along so well, it just...." said Willow "You could be a great couple!" "Babe!" said Oz "What are you talking about?" "Well, I don't know" said Willow "She's so perfect! Guys never looked at me like that!" "Babe, I know that many guys like you, and you know what?" said Oz "I don't care 'bout other guys. You're the only one for me!" "You really think so?" asked Willow. "Of course" said Oz and kissed her.
