Dance!

Sometimes the music just floats through you like a spring breeze

Caressing your ear and cradling your soul in the gentle beat.

You feel yourself falling into the swaying rhythm of the song

Imaginary partners dancing around you as you close your eyes

And just allow yourself to be free.

A smile tugs the corners of your face

And for one moment, all feels right.

Just you, dancing,

One with the music that fills the air around you.

Nothing to bring you down,

Just the wind filling your sails,

Little white clouds flying over the blue skies

Whitecaps on the beach

Breaking onto the white sand.

You take a sip of your drink

And feel the island all around you.

This is where you've needed to be for so long

And now here it is.

Dancing in circles,

Face turned up to the summer sun.

Who knew a simple song could

Generate this much fun???
