All roads lead to Kenora !
Kenora is accessible by Land, Water or Air ! Located on the Trans Canada Highway, which links the Canadian East Coast to Vancouver Island on the West coast. Kenora has her own airport which, is serviced by local carriers and charter flights. The nearest International airport is in Winnipeg, Manitoba, a 2-hour drive to the West.
Regular bus services are available connecting Kenora to other major Cities throughout Canada and the United States. Bus charters are also occasionally arranged to transport tourists from and to Kenora. The Lake of the Woods stretches all the way to Minnesota and during the summer months boaters travel back and forth over this scenic route.
The vast majority of visitors arriving in Kenora come by car or camper. The Kenora area has adequate hotels and camping grounds to accommodate all visitors, although it is wise to book your room or camping site in advance during the busy Summer Season.
A permanent resident of the United States does not require a passport. You do however, need proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate or citizenship certificate.
