When you leave Key West you will travel on a 7 mile bridge that is a wonderful thing. Below is a picture of how you used to have to get to Key West! Before the bridge.

Old Florida Keys Railway - used to be the way to go!

Cynthia marveled at it the beautiful water, it is so calm & peaceful. She was thinking of how her brother, Ed, would love to be there fishing. Once you start coming to the other Keys, Marathon, Islamorada, the Lower Keys & Pine Key and so forth, keep your eyes open and go the speed limit. Just like in Key West, the people here are laid back and the Key Deer are so cute & endangered! There are Million Dollar plus compounds as well shanties. Take your pick. If you get a chance stop by a nursery and take something home (as long as you have a place to keep it in a tropical atmosphere.) Once you get up to Key Largo I love to stay on the West coast in a nice hotel and enjoy the most beautiful and romantic sunsets! It is so very romantic and calm and peacful. Over on the East side it the only underground National Park, John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and Key Largo National Marine Sanctuary, where you can scuba dive and see lovely statutes and fish. In the Keys you may also swim with the dolphins, take helicopter rides to view it all from above, go on deep sea fishing. There are just so many places to go.
