But right now, we are just getting started.

Question:
You see I have a friend and she broke up with her ex a while ago. He has a new girlfriend. That girlfriend and her friends have been giving my friend and us trouble..not big troubles but little ones.
The other day they all bumped into each other and the girlfriend asked if my friend wanted to go
bowling. My friend said yes because she didn't want it to seem like she hated her or anything like
that. I went with my friend and the thing is, she didn't really talk to us and stuff, and she seemed a little pissed the whole night. Now my friend is wondering, should she be worried that something was up. The whole situation is weird. I also feel the girlfriend's intention was not just to all go bowl and have fun. What do you think her reasons for calling her out was.

The Truth As I See It!
I know it's rude to answer a question with a question but that's what I going to do: Why should you care what the reason was? She is obviously being a bitch and life is too short to worry about what reasons bitches, jerks, or a**holes have for doing things. They will always be jerks in your life but don't give in to them. They do things just to be jerks; it's their purpose in life! Get rid of the negative people from your life and get on with the living part. You and your friend will be much better off that way.
If you really need a reason for what she was up to besides being a petty bitch, it's probably the will of the ex-boyfriend of your friend. He doesn't want to see the animosity between the two women and wanted her to try and make peace (this also leaves the door open for the boyfriend to reconcile with the ex). This would have been very hard for her to do (it's tough being the new boy/girl friend) but she agreed anyway to keep the boyfriend happy. Thus the pissy mood at bowling; she was there but would rather not have been. She held up her end of the bargain. If this really was the case it was quite commendable of her but still no reason to want her in your lives. Wash your hands of her and say good riddance.
There are lots of good people in the world who aren't a**holes. Go bowling with them! Better yet, invite me!
