I Had A Dream...(cont.)

 

And I remember,

rolling in the grass, playing, laughing,

with a sweet girl,

one I could not put a face to.

We laughed, we talked, we giggled,

and I looked in vain to see a beutiful, smiling face;

All I kept seeing was a blur.

 

Then everything began turning foggy, blurry,

that special person began getting further and further away;

I saw no other colors but white and gray;

something dreadful was happening...

 

I was waking up.

 

And like the little boy that I was,

I folded this special dream,

locked it somewhere in my heart, and...

forgot it there.

 

But today, I've been unlocking passages of my heart,

out of desperation,

and once again found my dream.

This boyhood dream, this fantasy of youth.

Today, this dream has become a reality,

and now I can identify that special someone in my dream...

it was you, and although I've tried,

to put my dream away forever,

I've been secretly loving this special girl,

and I can't help but think...
