As an history buff and sociologist I couldn't help but to be deeply impressed
with the history of the Georgian people. I'm sure I am not alone when I
remember as a child reading the stories Jason and the Argonauts, the conquests
of Alexander the Great, the spread of the Persian Empire and of Gengis Khan and
the Golden Horde. At those times I never really thought I would ever see those
places. So to me, walking on Georgian soil that has seen all of these armies
was a fantasy come true. This page shows some of the buildings and structures that have witnessed many
if not all of these "men of history".
