Architecture Places Tbilisi Faces University

These are some of the people I met in the Tbilisi market and on our travels around the countryside. The Georgians are proud of their growth in food production. We were told that 5 years ago you could hardly get bread now, as you can see, foods are in abundance. When you get there, (and I truly hope you do) be sure to try the katchapuri. It is delicious!! I think you will find the Georgians to be as friendly and hospitable as anyone on earth and more so than most.
Here is a woman in the market buying bread, a group of "the guys" who had stands in the market. When they saw my camara they began teasing the man in the center to pose for a picture.
Next is a pretty-eyed Georgian hidden behind her mound of flour. She also had mounds of cornmeal and rice.
Following that is a picture of a stand selling beans, peppers and chilies.

We came across the next pair of ladies selling bread and plastic bags on the sidewalk. Plastics and paper goods are in short supply so the market is good. (anyone have a connection to a wholesale paper goods distributer or manufacturer, I'd like to hear from you)
