Codes and Passwords for Gex

Note: You must Hold R1 and bring down the item menu (Press Select) while entering the following button presses for these two tricks.

Stage Select: Go to the Dome Area, and Press X, Square, X, Right, Up, Left, Circle, Circle, Down, Down.
Open all Levels: Go to any stage and Press Circle, Start, Right, Up, Square, Left, Left, Up, Start.

First pause the game. Then press and HOLD the R1 button. Then enter one of the following codes to get the desired result.

Infinite Lives - Up, Circle, Triangle, Down, Right, Square, Down.
Fire Balls - X, Up, Right, Up, Right, Right.
Ice Balls - Circle, Circle, Left, Down, Circle, Up, Right.
Electric Spit - Right, Left, Right, Circle, Triangle, Right, Circle, Down, Right.
Speed Power - Up, Down, Start, Right, Right, Down, Up, Start.
Super Jump - X, Circle, Up, Up, Down, Right, Right.
Almost Invincible (Don't fall in the pits) - X, Square, Down, Down, Up, Down, Right.

Use the password RYYRYXKB to gain access to the stages in Planet X.

The code for all levels complete, including planet X, is PZYPRXYL

The only thing left to do is kill the last boss, Rez.

Begin your game at the Dome and press Select to bring down the Item Menu. Next, press and hold R1. While it's held, press X, Square, X, Right, Up, Left, Circle, Circle, Down, Down. A Stage Select Menu will appear where you can chooses levels and bosses.

Press and hold R1. At any stage, press Circle, Start, Right, Up, Square, Left, Left, Up, Start. There will be an explosion and you will then receive open access to all of the levels.

Access All Bonus Rooms From The First Floor:
Go to the Frankie and Heli Stage. Find the small crawlspace a little ways into the level. Use the teleport then immediately go right, past three large, breakable blocks. Jump over the teleporter on the ground and onto the ledge with the 1-Up. Get a running start and jump left as high as you can. In the middle of your jump, hold Up. You should stick to a hidden block. Move up on the block and you'll be warped to a room with all of the bonus room portals. Collect all of the remote pieces in these levels by picking up all of the icons, and you'll have access to Planet X.
