Codes for Ridge Racer

To move around the logo at the title screen:
Hold down either R1 and L1 or R2 and L2. Now pressing the different buttons will modify the logo.

When selecting a car or track, playing with the R1 and L1 buttons will rotate the car or track at various speeds. Even to the point of stopping.

To save to a memory card:
Select 'options' from the main menu. Then choose 'fastest laps'. Choosing 'save' will save your scores, extra tracks, additional eight cars, and the Galaxian 13. To save these to the same file as you achieve them, be sure to load the previous file first. At first you will have to choose 'new file'.

To get the extra tracks:
Place first in all four tracks. Make sure to save them.

To play on the mirrored tracks:
Start driving in the race to pick up speed. Then turn around and drive straight into the wall. You will pass through it if you are going fast enough. This has to be done each time you want to use it. You can't save it.

To get the Galaxian 13:
First get the extra tracks. Then you must place first on the T.T. extra track. To do this you must run a perfect, and I do mean perfect final two laps to win. The black car will wait for you after the first lap. After that, if it passes you, then there is no way to beat it.

To play your own music CD tracks:
Let the game load up until the title screen. Then switch the CD's with the power still on. Now when you play Ridge Racer, your music will also be played.
