Here's the baddies. They're cool. I got worried once I heard that a new Final Fantasy Character Designer was coming in, but Tetsuya Nomura has impressed me. Want some english translations? Well...since there hasn't been anything close to an official announcement on the bad guy names, theses are rough but here goes (top to bottom, left to right from picture above):
As soon as the true translation's are out, I'll fill them in, for now...sorry. To get on with the characters, the coolest looking one is Rieve, but anyway. You may have asked what's up with the "Turks" thing popping up. Well, Shinra sees the Avalanche as bad guys causing trouble. So what do they do? They tell the Pres. of Public Welfare to do something. What does he do? He forms a "peace-keeping" group called the "Turks" to "keep peace." Now that I'm done with the quotation marks, the Turks are really hired gunmen, who were hired to get rid of the Avalanche. Simple enough? Thought so. If not, here's the overall look at it:
