
Materia Combos
Here are some helpful materia combinations for those that need a little more punch
Simple Combos
Added Effect--
Added Effect+Transform- Causes Frog or Small with damage.
Added Effect+Poison- Poisons enemy with damage.
Added Effect+Seal- Mutes or puts enemy to sleep after attack.
Added Effect+Hades- Causes seven status ailments after attack or
protects you from them if placed in armor.
Added Effect+Any other status materia- Causes that negative status+ damage.
Elemental
Elemental+most basic spells- Attacks with or protects from the chosen element.
Elemental+Elemental Summons- Attacks with or protects from the element.
HP Absorb/MP Absorb
MP Absorb+any spell materia- Cuts down MP consumption by restoring some if
the attached spell damages.
HP Absorb/MP Absorb+Steal [Mug]- Steals HP/MP along with an item.
HP Abosorb+Knights of Round- Does huge damage and restores your HP.
Final Attack
Final Attack+Revive- Instantly heals a fallen warrior.
Final Attack+Phoenix- Damages enemy and revives all dead party members.
Complex Combos
Sneak Attack, Pre-Emptive, Deathblow, Mega-All= Strikes frist, hitting
all enemies with Deathblow.
Sneak Attack, Pre-Emptive, Knights of Round+MP Trubo- Strikes first,
doing huge damage to all foes with KOR.
Knights of Round, W-Summon, Mime- Indefinitely cast the ultimate summon
for 500 MP. With three Mime, this can be repeated for an incredible
chain effect.
Cover, Counter Attack, Counter Attack, [Command]Counter+Deathblow-
Protect allies and counter three times, finishing with Deathblow.
Sneak Attack, Pre-Emptive, Steal- Steal from all enemies at the start
of a battle-- best with Mug.
The above combos are a few examples of what you can do with your materia.
