The End is the Begining of the End

10/7/97

Well i have a Little disapointing news. Currently i'm moving to another department. I will be getting more money, good for me. Most of my sites will not be getting updated as much. Bad thing for you. While I have like a million sites. And have made dedicated attempts to keep you all informed. I will have less time to do updating. Plus I am in the process of moving closer to work. So I'll have to get a computer and connected to continue with my online work. So I will be making some updates. Mostly on the Video Game Emulator Page But I will also still try to make those NetLink movies too. Without a Macintosh It will be hard to create movies Cause the only program capable of converting QT movies is on a Mac. Which I only had access to at this Department here at work.

So I'll be around a bit but not as much. I will have access to the net again in about a month. but I anticipate a much larger call volume where i'm moving. So i may not have much time than I thought.

Diana's Death Shocks World

8/31/97

Mourners gathered to share their grief across the globe, from Washington to Tokyo. Thousands of stunned Britons assembled outside Kensington Palace, Diana's home in London, sobbing and laying flowers on the sidewalk. World leaders and dignitaries, charmed by her elegance and wide-ranging charity work, gushed with sympathy.

Britain’s Princess Diana was killed early this morning in Paris after the car in which she was a passenger slammed into a tunnel support beam.

She lived most of her life in the bright glare of tabloid flashbulbs. She died trying to escape them

Her driver was apparently trying to escape, at speeds up to 100 kilometers an hour (60 mph) a pack of paparazzi, free-lance photographers who make their living by dogging the heels of the rich and famous, often driving them crazy in the process.

Authorities said seven photographers were in custody, and a criminal investigation was under way. France Info radio said at least some of the photographers took pictures before help arrived—and that one of the photographers was beaten at the scene by horrified witnesses.

The crash also killed her new love, Harrods heir Dodi Al Fayed, the man with whom friends say she had recently found the happiness she had been so long seeking after her fairy-tale wedding to the heir to the British throne turned into a nightmarish soap opera.

Prince Charles, who plans to fly to Paris to accompany Princess Diana’s body back to Britain, broke the news of her death to their sons, Prince William, 15, and Prince Harry, 12, early today.

What does this have to do with videogames. Well to be honest nothing. What does this have to do with us. Depends on who you ask. The person who got to be a "Princess" in this modern day is now gone. While she wasn't Married anymore to Charles it still shockes and invokes a feeling in people's hearts. A feeling that. Even people in higher society can be subject to the common things in life. And that the death of Princess Di is the bigest thing in news. Lets not forget all the people that die in the world of more worst faiths in life. Like hunger...and disease...even AIDS...
Sorry to bring you all down if I did. but its also a time to look up and see that many of us can have a good life...something alot of people can't or couldn't...so make something of yourself and enjoy your life. Go ahead and go play that game or go out and have fun.

The royal family's Web site, www.royal.gov.uk, invited users to offer condolences. The site opens with a color photograph of Diana smiling and dressed elegantly with a bouquet of wildflowers. The caption is simple: "Diana, Princess of Wales 1 July 1961 - 31 August 1997."
