American voice actress: Aline Leslie
- She is the first humanoid Invid created by The Invid Regis to spy on
Scott Bernard's team. However during her conception, Ariel (she is known
as such by the Invid), is hurt and loses all of her memory when found by
Scott and the others. Believing her to be a wounded human female, the team
takes her into their care; furthurmore Scott names her Marlene, in memory
of his dead fiance. At first Marlene to be very wierd to the group, she
doesn't say much and gets a strange sensation when the Invid are approching.
This is because of the fact that she is an Invid, but doesn't know it;
nevertheless this is a great advance for Scott's team. With the time that
she spens with team, Marlene learns human customs and emotions, and eventually
would fall in love with Scott Bernard. Though both are shocked when they
discover that she is an Invid; after being wounded and bleeding green Invid
blood. At the end of the series Marlene along with Sera convince The Regis
to fleet Earth rather than die fighting.
