"CRONO!" Marle's voice echoed. Her legs wouldn't stop. She ran faster than she had ever run before. And faster. Faster. She couldn't let Crono die. "Now, my son, your foolishness will be the death you. Live by the Sword. And die by the sword." The Reptites were dead. Marle was not stopped. Even if they were dead, her Crono wouldn't be. "Prepare to go beyond the horizon. Into the world...." "Into the world of death." He finished, and looked at Crono. He hoisted his sword into the air. Frog could only watch. Azala prepared to bring the sword down-and was nearly knocked over by a shoulder smash into the gut that nearly brought him to the ground. "M-Marle! My lass, why, ye be saving Crono..." Marle kicked, punched, bit, everything. Her rage was controlled, but she let it out anyway. Azala was shocked. He was casting fire spell after fire spell. Frog saw this. From Marle, he got the courage. He stood up, and casted every water and cure spell he knew. The punches raged on. Marle stopped. She knew Azala was as good as gone. "NOOOOOOOOO!!! Defeated by the apes again!" Azala shrieked. Marle ran up to Crono. He stood up, and smiled at Marle. "If..if I am going to die, I am taking you two with me!" And with that, he launched a huge, firey magic beam of pure destruction, even harder than the spell that had just nearly killed everyone else. And had killed the Reptites. The noise was deafening. Marle threw her arms around Crono's waist, and put her head into his shoulder. The pain... The extreme pain. The two kept themselves embraced. Pressing into each other. It hurt.... But they held on.. Marle shouted, although she knew Crono couldn't hear through the noise, she knew he would know by mind communication. That was the strength of the bridge between them. "I love you, Crono..." Crono, of course, didn't hear it. But he somehow knew what she said. He patted her on the back in recognition. The beam stopped. Anyone else would have died in it. But Crono and Marle managed to keep standing. Azala perished. Marle squeezed Crono tighter, and started crying. "I love you...." She couldn't keep it in. "I love you." The day of the wedding was big. Crono was in a beautiful tuxedo. Ayla was yawning. Frog was smiling. Magus was bored. Robo was crying. Lucca was jealous. Kino walked through the doors. "Ayla! Hello Ayla!" "Kino come!" And with that, the two cavepeople kissed. "Robo...." Robo looked up. "Atropos?" Atropos nodded her head. Robo had never felt emotions before. It was strange... What was that tingling feeling he felt inside? "Frog! Frog, oh, there you are!" Frog recogzined the voice at once. It was none other than Leene's. "Oh, I am so glad to see you again!" Magus looked at everyone. He was glad they were so happy, but no one could make him as happy, except.... "Janus! Janus, my brother!" Magus looked up. And saw his long lost sister. Schala was alive. Lucca smiled. She had brought everyone to the wedding. She was making them all so happy... If only she could get someone for herself.. A man stumbled into the wedding hall, and sat next to Lucca. He adjusted his glasses. "Uh..excuse me, Miss, is this the wedding of Gerry Rodgers and Jessie Moore?" Lucca looked up. "No, I'm sorry, this is Crono Terry and Nadia Guardia's wedding." "Oh dear, I've never been so embarrassed since I discovered the square root of 14 plus the appoximate amounts of the electrons on a hard surface calcuated the exact amount of a light speed figure with PI squared instead of discovering Nuclear Fusion!" "But you have to times the calculation by the amount of electrons and the exact lenght in Kilometers of the surface!" Both took in a big gasp. And got to know each other better. "I do." Crono nodded his head. He rarely talked. Marle giggled. "Nadia Terry, Crono Terry, you may now kiss." *Note: They do weddings differently in Truce!* They came close, before someone stormed in. "Monsters are attacking the village!" Crono looked at Marle. "Marle, sounds like fun." "Yeah!" Crono and Marle threw off their formal outfits and ran out of the chapel. Frog flipped over 2 chairs and grabbed Robo and his way out. Lucca jumped up, and ran side by side with Ayla out the door. Magus levitated out. The Minster shrugged. "....." Someone stood up. "It's their party. Let them do what they want." And they lived happily ever after. Or did they?
