Diddy Kong Racing starts when Timber the Tiger's parents leave Timber's island for a while and they leave him in charge! One day, a fat pig named Wizpig comes, and he seals off all the races. Now Timber is in trouble. He calls Diddy and 6 of his friends, and they all go on an adventure to rid their island of Wizpig.

This game has ten drivers (Krunch, Diddy, Conker, Banjo, Tip Tup, Pipsy, and Timber with 2 hidden characters), has three vehicles (kart, hovercraft, and plane), 20 courses, can have 1-4 players, and has an Adventure Mode and a Tracks Mode (1-4 players), and has many various Magic Codes. This game with all it's new features is better than Mariokart.

All the characters have different racing attributes. Some are slow, some are fast, some are heavy, some are light, some have good maneuverability, some do not. I reccomend TipTup Because he is light, fairly fast, and very easy to maneuver.

The game's 20 courses are spread out over 5 main worlds. Those are Dino Domain, Snowflake Mountain, Sherber Island, Dragon Forest, and Spaceport Alpha if you can earn it.

A big feature in this game is the adventure mode in which you must collect baloons to open up doors to the levels by defeating other animals in races. There are 4 bosses to the worlds and two wizpigs to beat. You must also collect keys, win trophy races, and try to beat the other animals while colecting silver coins. When you finally beat the adventure, there is Adventure II which is even harder.

This is a great multiplayer game with up two four people. If you beat all the levels, you can race in 20 courses, 5 trophy races, and four battle courses. Before the race, you can pick what vehicle you want to use.
