Maybe that is the oldest combo noticed with Channel , you can kill you opponent with this cards if you have more life than him.

2-Channel+Initiates of the Ebon Hand+Drain Life
You play Channel , with the Initiates you change the colorless mana to black than you use Drain Life , you give X damage to him and you win X points of Life , that results in a advantage of 2X life against your opponent!
