About Us

Mew is the 151st Pokemon. It can learn all TM's and HM's. That's where the truth stops. Many schemes have been hatched to get the coveted Pokemon, and they are all false. These cheats have caused us the most agony, for we've been looking for them the little critter for quite some time.

Mew UN-code #01:
Do not board the S. S. Anne. Have someone give you Pokemon with Strength and Surf ability. Surf left (or right, I've heard it both ways) and down. There you will find a small island with a boulder.
Push it, fall in, and in the hole will be a Poke Ball with Mew inside.

What's wrong?
Well, in order to use Surf and Strength, you have to get the first five badges. Even when I did, there was no island. To the left is a blank platform, and to the right is a platform with a truck on it
(which you can not move or cut). The truck is amusing looking, so that might make the trouble worth it. Also, how would you be able to get out of this so-called hole? If you did not have a escape
rope, you would have to reset the game.  It would been more believable if they said someone was waiting down there, gives you Mew, then warps you back up.

Mew UN-code #01b:
It is basically the same as above, except it calls for you to actually push the S.S. Anne. This is absurd. Even if you could, where would you push it? No, there could not be a Poke ball under the S.S. Anne, and there isn't, I tried.

Mew UN-Code #02:
After searching for a bit,  I read on one site that if you get all 150 Pokemon (which I do) someone in Lavender Town would give you Mew.

What's wrong?
I talked to everyone in this crappy town. Everyone! Even every single one of the ex-possessed women in the tower. I went all the way to the top, and back down again. Nothing. I believe it was
actually referring to the Japanese trick, where you rename a certain Pokemon something, click on a certain item in your inventory, then try to rename it, or something of that sorts. But you didn't
need all 150 Pokemon to do that trick, so I'm not sure they know what they're talking about.

Mew UN-code #03:
a. Trade a Pokemon to a character in the game, NOT a real person (we suggest someone in the lab on CINNABAR ISLAND)
b. Go to the east coast of CINNIBAR ISLAND (FLY there immediately if you've traded somewhere else)
c. SURF up and down along the coast
d. Ignore the MissingNo. Pokemon, he'll mess up your game
e. After a long while of SURFing and meeting Pokemon, it is rumored that you'll encounter Mew!
f. Catch her or put her to sleep before she TRANSFORMs during her first turn, or she'll just be a Ditto.

What's Wrong?
Missingno. keeps popping up no matter if you run or kill it, and after awhile, Safari Zone Pokemon start coming, but no Mew. Even if you do ignore Missingno., it will still mess up your game. So, not only do you NOT get Mew, you mess up you game too.
Mew UN-code #04:
You have to go and beat all 8 gym leaders, but NOT the elite four. you also CANNOT make any trades at that one place at cinnabar islands. go there trade all of the trades, but don't get your fossil ressurected. go and find missingo. then once you find him, catch him with a great ball. i repeat a GREAT BALL. after you catch him give him 100 waters and 1 sodapop and then talk to the name changer and get you missingo's name changed into yukevitg. i don't know what it means but it works! it really does. your missingo will still be named missingo but have mew pokedex entry and his moves. you can change his name into mew though.

What's Wrong?
Yukevitg means nothing...(even backwards...what's Gtivekuy?) Anyway...getting Missingno. is dangerous. I had to start an entire new game to try this code out to find out it was false. Jeesh. Oh well.

Mew UN-code #05:
Get a Mewtwo from another Trainer, raise it to level 100, and talk to the guy at the top of mansion where you get Eevee, and he will send you out looking for a "Mew Stone". It is randomly anywhere in the world, so you have to go through the entire game again using the Item Finder to get it. Use it on your Mewtwo and it will Evolve. There you go.

What's wrong?
This code does not even sound real. But, anyway, I got a level 100 Mewtwo from someone, and he said no such thing. Anyways, I searched around a little for some fun, and nothing showed up (except an elixer I missed! Yea...). Anyway, I wish, but no, it doesn't work.

Mew UN-code #06:
I do not know this for sure but in the american version you can supposedly get Mew if you go to the bushes west of Cerulean City. You have to stay there for hours before you will even encounter one from what I have been told.

What's wrong?
I stayed there for hours. And all I got was bored. No Mew out there. Sorry.
Mew UN-code #07:
Step 1: SEE all 150 Pokemon, if you get all 150 this wont work
Step 2: Fight with someone in the Collosium using a Game link cable.
Step 3: Go to the place where you got Eevee and Mew will be patiently waiting in a Poke ball.

What's wrong?
We fought over and over, and Mew was never there. Oh well. I got to kick some butt!
