Updated in the Past
The updated versions of both the Berserker
by Tony Rich and the Blademaster
by Aaron Woods are now available on the Disciplines
page. I have also updated the Discipline Web Guide
with the Elven Knight and Warden Disciplines, two Blood Elf Disciplines by Drystone
made specifically for the Blood Wood.
I have also added an About page
for information about this site as well myself.
The Discipline page has been updated
with the Exolasher Discipline by Drystone. These
warriors act as either the Queen's personal guards or as Knights of the Thistle,
who use more subtle and covert means to achieve their objectives. The
Web Guide has been updated with the Air Trader by Blair Monroe, a more trading
oriented Air Sailor, and the Foreign Language
page has been updated with the Diplomat by FRPG EarthDawn.
I have added the Dragons Sourcebook done by FASA
to the Files section. The text of the sourcebook
is complete, but there is only one picture. This file is also on the FASA home
page. The character and spell sheets were also updated.
I have updated the Discipline
Web Guide with the Seductress Discipline by L.A. Pride. These seductresses
(and seducers for males) will leave you completely bereft of your wits and totally
within their thrall. They specialize in charming, enchanting, and seducing,
and always get their way. A word to the wise: run and hide when you see them
coming!
First of all, the Disciplines page
has been completely remodeled for easier navigation and better content. Two
new submissions have been added to it: the Blademaster
by Aaron Woods, and the Berserker by Tony Rich.
The former are expert swordsmen that prefer using two weapons, while the Berserker
is an incredibly fast and furious fighter who prefers to use small, edged weapons
and take massive strain.
The Campaign page has been updated
with the new group of PCs in the Desert of Desolation setting. The Funny
Quotes page now includes the first few sessions of quotes from our most
recent adventures.
In addition, The EarthDawn Journal has posted all of their
disciplines from former issues. The Discipline Web
Guide has been updated with the Combat Mage, Inquisitor, Mystic Warrior,
Songsmith, Spy, and Taildancer from the EDJ. The Web Guide has also been updated
with the Samurai Discipline from the neXus, and yet another Assassin, this time
by Sonny.
I have updated the Discipline
Web Guide with the beta version of Ryan Hawkins new Channeller Discipline,
magician adepts who channel astral space through themselves to cast magic. The
Merchant Discipline by Mike Boaz has returned and the Cursed Mage by Karl Boivin
has been updated. The Foreign Language page has
been updated with the Astralgänger, adepts that explore astral space and other
realms.
The Disciplines page has been updated
with the Blood Warder Discipline by Drystone.
These Elves of the Blood Wood are dedicated to its protection and preservation,
and were instrumental in the Blood Wood's formation. Also, I have updated the
Discipline Web Guide with the Spy and Revised
Scout Disciplines by The Mage's Tower.
I have added a Foreign Language
page for disciplines in languages other than English. It has many new disciplines
as well as links to non-English discipline resources. For those who don't know
German (or other languages), there is also a link to Alta Vista's translation
page.
The Discipline Web Guide has
been updated with two new Disciplines, the Guardian by The Colluseum and the
Templar by Philippe Baril. Guardians live to protect and aid their chosen master,
while Templars travel the world, searching for sources of evil to banish and
sufferings to ease. Check out each of these Disciplines, they are both quite
good.
Also, CyanBlade's EarthDawn in conjunction with the EarthDawn
Web Project is attempting to establish a few message boards for open discussion
of different things about EarthDawn including campaigns, adventures, disciplines,
and ED in general. So go to the Message Board
section of the links page to try them out. If you would also like to link to
these Message Boards, please e-mail
one of us so that we can keep track of who is linking to them. Thanks.
Two new Disciplines by Marshall S. Bush have been added
to the Disciplines page. Dragon
Dancers are living examples of what it is to be T'skrang, being both warriors
and poets, leaders and defenders. A Drunkard is not
one who merely drinks, but is a philosopher, counselor, and, if need be, a fighter.
He uses what most take for granted as a key to the doors of knowledge and wisdom...
and usually has a good time doing it.
I have added the Cursed Mage Discipline by Karl Boivin
to the Discipline Web Guide. Cursed Mages sprung
from those Wizards who lusted after greater magic power that would come from
having more than one Discipline's worth of spells. Although powerful, they have
to wake up every day and attempt to hide the fact that they are cursed and look
like a squid...
The Discipline Web Guide has
been updated with four new Disciplines. The first two, by The Bearers of Akasha,
include an very well done Monk as well as the legendary Brithan Hunter Discipline
which went around making pelts of the now extinct brithans. The other two, by
Eric Bernier at the Hall of Records, are the Druid Discipline and the Kenaga
Discipline of the Aquamen race. Check them all out ;)
I have updated the Discipline
Web Guide with two new Disciplines. The Doll Mage is a pre-Scourge Discipline
in which adepts created dolls to fight for them and perform tasks. The War Dancer,
on the other hand, is a "Berserker Elf" type Discipline a la Warhammer.
The Discipline page has been updated
with the new Old Walker Discipline by Matt Pillsbury.
These insane magicians use the pre-Scourge method of raw casting all spells,
forsaking threadweaving and spell matrices. The Discipline
Web Guide has been updated with the Hearth Keeper Discipline by Jay Gray
at Shattering the Looking Glass.
Also, Ben's new EarthDawn Character Generator, version
1.3e is now available to download. This fixes some of the previous spellcaster
incompatibilities.
The Discipline Page has been updated
with the Gambler Discipline by Marshall S. Bush. These
adepts use karma and manipulate luck as easily as they charm those around them.
In addition, the Discipline Web Guide has been
updated with the new Shadow Walker Discipline by Zorgus.
I have updated the Discipline
Web Guide with the Astral Warrior Discipline by Polska Wersja at The Mage's
Tower. This Discipline, lost during the Scourge, fights the denizens of astral
space by using a combination of Warrior and Nethermancer talents. The Cavalier
Discipline by Brian O'Donnell has now been completed and updated.
After a short break, I have finally updated the Discipline
Web Guide with two new Disciplines. The first is the Rogue Discipline by
Daniel Routhier. These adepts have almost all of the talents of a Thief, but
are slightly more combat oriented. The second is Zorgus' latest creation, the
Aqua Mage.
The Discipline Web Guide has
been updated with three new Disciplines, all by Andrew Ragland. They are the
Insect Hunter, an specific Elven Discipline for the Shosara setting, the Jurraq
Discpline, masters of the shifting desert sands, and the El-Kadi Discipline,
wise advisers who keep the oral traditions and customs of the Bindari culture.
Andrew has three settings posted on his new page, Ork
in Black, check them out.
Also, the Files section has been
updated with Ben Legangneux's new EarthDawn Character Generator, version 1.3d.
This modified generator lets you print out all of the characters you generate.
I have updated the Discipline
Web Guide three Disciplines that used to be on the Internet a little while
ago, but are now located in a different place. They are the Merchant by Mike
Boaz, and the Barbarian and Bounty Hunter by the former Tower Arcanus site.
The Discipline Web Guide has been updated with five new Disciplines. They are the Mantrix, frightening mages who can cancel out an adept's use of magic, the Polymorph, the Riverman and Runemaster by Gernot Hallmann, and the Sky Sailor by Joe Petit.
The Disciplines page has been updated with the Seer Discipline. These adepts are able to sense and analyze the tapestry of threads which connects all patterns. They can perceive the interactions of the patterns in their vicinity and use this to foretell the probable future or to understand what occurred in the past. The brainstorming I put into this Discipline gave me enough to start working on another Discipline. This will hopefully appear in a month or so.
I have updated the Discipline Web Guide has been updated with two new Disciplines by Tor. If you're looking for pure unadulterated unarmed combat heaven, just look up the Wrestler. If spiritual guidance and do-gooding is more to your liking, try out the Paladin. Expect both of these Disciplines to become more fleshed out as time passes and as ED at the Chaos Shell continues to grow.
The Discipline Web Guide has been updated with the Mounted Archer Discipline by Péter Dévényi. These fierce, noble warriors of the plains are based on the warriors of the nomadic Hungarian tribes. Not quite archers, and not quite cavalrymen, they fill a needed niche in EarthDawn Disciplines.
Four new elementalist spells have been added to the Eternal
Library. Freeze your opponent with the Sub-Zero
spell; make your armor nearly unbeatable with Impenetrable
Armor; create great drinks for your entire party with Pretty
Good Ale; and hurl your enemies into the sky with Vortex.
