As time and space continues to change, our old friends do not. And enemies never change... unless they ARE your friends. This story is about alternation of furries around the world, and only a small band of ''Freedom Fighters'' can save them. Can they help? Or will everyone die under the hands of evil?
''Pass the dang puck over here!'' Leo Ice, a person very kind to people, takes the puck with the hockey stick and skates toward the goal. ''Nothing like a good game of Ice Hockey, ey, Bright?'' He turns to Brightfire the Echidna. ''Yeah! Nice of ya to set this game up! It was boring just sitting on my butt watching the Disney Channel!'' They laugh together as Leo passes the puck. ''You think that's boring, wait till 3:00 pm today! Some guys are gonna be in a fight... Borin for me, cuz I kick major ass!'' ''Oh yeah, whatever!'' Brightfire answers to Leo's comment. Leo knocks the puck towards the goal, and Skye the Echidna blocks. ''Nice shot, Ice!'' She laughs. ''Can we get this game over with already?'' Dashboard says angrily, since he knows he's getting his ass kicked by the other team after he made a bet that he could beat allthe people in the game. Leo chuckles, ''Alright, Dash! We win, 55 to 34!'' Dash hates to lose, so walks off in his skates. He mumbles under his breath, ''Stupid game of hockey.. Should have watched fer thin ice...'' Leo high-five's Bright and says to Dash, ''Don't go away mad! Just go away as we celebrate! Hahaha!!''
in the other part of the Floating Island, a strange portal opens up, and a dark shadow walks out. He steps on the soft soil just out of the Forbidden Zone. ''This planet is perfect.. After my reign of terror, I shall alternate this planet and make all these innocent people into my slaves..'' He laughs evily at the thought and walks off toward the Ice Cap Zone.
Inside a large treehouse, Ami Echidna sets up dinner. ''I hope Leo gets done with his game soon... This is getting boring doing the average wife stuff... Well, I'm alone, and I can watch my soap operas without Leo getting annoyed.'' Ami chuckles as she sits on the couch, changes the channel, and lays down. Leo walks in with his ice skates over his shoulder. ''Aw shoot.'' Ami grumbles. Leo, confused, asks his wife, ''What's wrong? you don't like me no more?'' He pretends to pout. Ami hits his with one of the couch pillow. ''You know I love ya. Yer just annoying!'' ''Me annoying? Oh please.'' Leo says sarcastically as he and Ami pillow fights and laughs all the way through. After a few minutes, they fall to the ground, tired from swingin the heavy pillows so much. They breath hard, laughing. ''Well, that was fun!'' Leo comments. Ami giggles. ''Yeah... Well, our dinner's getting cold, now lets eat!'' Leo gets up to the table. ''Yeah.. I worked up quite an appetite!'' He sits down and picks up the fork. He looks down at the spaggetti. ''Oooh.. What's with this? You usually cook something good!'' Amiplayfully hits Leo on the shoulder. ''Live with it, brainfreeze!'' Leo answers back, ''Just kiddin! Sheesh!'' Leo starts to eat his dinner. Ami asks Leo, ''How did the game go? You kick ass again?'' Leo laughs and talks with his mouth full. ''Yep! The hell we did! 55 to 34! The efinishin shot was by yours truly!'' Ami laughs and high fives him. ''Way to go! Maybe next time I can play!'' Leo laughs at the thought. ''Oh please! You could never beat me! And you make a lousy player!'' ''Yeah right! I would play you one on one and kick your big ass!'' Ami laughs. Leo chuckles. ''I'd love to see you try!'' Then suddenly, there is a huge white flash outside. Ami looks out the window, seeing that all the ice melted in the Ice Cap zone. Eyes wide, she looks around, seeing skeletons, dead or dieing nature, and a dark figure walking across the field. ''Uh... Leo? I think you should see this....'' Ami turns to Leo, scared at the sight. Leo walks over to the window, eyes wide open. ''WhAt ThE hElL hApPeNeD???'' He sees the dark figure and quickly Leo turns to vapor and flies through the wall and after the person. ''Leo, be careful!!'' Ami is worried about what might happen. Please be careful... she thinks.
