Chapter 8: Final Count Down part 1
Alright... You've seen the last 7 chapters. Now it's time
for the Final Count Down. Try this on for size!!!!
"Alright, troops, MOVE OUT!!!!" Leo Ice, dirty from his
hike, climbs hills and rocks, leads the little army to the
Forbidden Zone. Zip asks him, "You think it was sanitary to
wake up at 3 O' CLOCK IN THE MORNING?!??!?" "Listen Zip.
We HAVE to get there before Alternator finds out. Who
knows what he's gonna cook up this time??" He keeps
walking. Skye Echidna, tired out along with the rest,
asks, "Leo, we need to take a stop... We need SOME rest.."
"Okay, Skye... We'll head toward the river. It's just up
ahead..." Zoner falls to the ground, tired as hell.
Mischief helps him up and keeps walking. Hydro is a bit
dry, holding onto whatever is around to stay up.
Brightfire does the same. Everyone does what they can to
stay up. Leo jumps up onto a boulder and looks around. He
sees the Eternal River. "Guys, the river's just up ahead!!"
He jumps down and runs to it. The sound of the word
'river' got everyone so excited they dashed over to the
river like a herd of buffalo. Zip gets there first and
jumps in. "BANZAI!!!" Leo cools himself off with his ice.
Then he gets to thinking. "Hey, anyone seen Ami lately?"
Everyone but Reko and the stranger answer. They say no.
Reko signals Leo to come over to him. Leo stands by the
two and asks, "So, what's your answer?" Reko answers, "I
saw Ami at the MSC bulding. She was the only one there,
making it easier for Dashboard to kidnap her." The Stranger
continues, "She was sent over to Alternator. He thought it
would be good bait for you to come." "WHAT THE HELL!???!??"
Leo runs off as fast as he can. Zip is the first to run up
and catch up to Leo. Everyone follows. Zip sees Leo
crying. "What's up, Leo? What's with the Waterworks?"
"Alternator's gone too far... HE'S GONNA PAY!!!!!" Leo
seems to run faster, either that or Zip is getting tired.
Zip stops. He looks back seeing everyone finally catching
up. Hydro stops by Zip. "What's wrong with Reo-san,
Zippy-sama?" "he's kinda.... Well... Under alot of
pressure..." He shrugs and keeps running.
"Hmm... Leo is finally catching on... DASHBOARD!!!" Dash
comes stumbling in. "Yes sir, alternator, god-type-sir,
man!" "Hmm, yes... Leo's little army is on their way...
Get the RaptorMen and move out." "Yes sir, alternator sir
god-type----" "GET TO IT!!!!" "Yessir..." Dash runs out of
the castle with the RaptorMen. As he gets out, Leo appears
over the hill. The rest are behind him. Leo rams into
Dash and pounds him in the ground. "DIE, FREAK!!!!" The
rest knock the shit out of the butt-ugly raptors. Leo
throws Dash into a tree and runs through the doors.As he runs through the halls, he opens one door and finds the doomsday device. Ami hangs from a rope, tied around her waist and arms. Leo looks up and sees her. "AMI!!!" Ami sowly wakes up. "Huh.. wha... Leo?" Leo climbs on the device shaped like a huge laser. He reaches Ami and creates an Ice dagger. Right when he is about to start cutting, Alternator runs in and throws electricity at Leo, making him fall to the ground, nearly crushing his bones. "Hmm... That was too easy..." He presses a few buttons on the control panel and the device charges up. Ami's eyes widen. "Oh shit..." Leo yells out to Alternator, somehow okay and behind Alternator, "You think it was that easy to kill me???" Alternator grins and turns the machine off. Ami keeps saying to herself, "Thank you thank you thank you..." Alternator turns to Leo. "Well, I kind of guessed..." Electricity flies everywhere and he floats up. Leo begins floating up himself. Alternator flies down, shooting electricity at Leo. Everything seems to fly past him. Alternator throws his fists, doing anything he can to kill Leo. Leo hovers to the left and Alternator flies into the wall. "OWIE!" Leo flies toward Ami and takes out his dagger, He cuts through the rope. Alternator gets up and stumbles toward the control panel and turns the machine back on. Leo grabs Ami in his arms and flies out of the way. The laser flies to the center of Floating Island, Echidnapolis. When it strikes, everything around it is set on the fire or exploding. Echidnas run everywhere. Some echidnas burn and discentigrate. Others are killed in the explosions. And others are killed by the impact and slammed into the ground. Back at the castle of ALternator... "WHERE'S MY MONEY??!?!?" Dash yells at Alternator. He grins. "Right were I left it." "YEAh, BUT WHEN I LOOKED IN THERE< I ONLY SAW GREEN DIRT!!!" "Yes, discentigrated money." "THAT'S IT!!!!!" Dash runs towardAlternator with his sword in front of him. Alternator sends a fireball huge enough at Dash that it discentigrates him. All that is left is the blade of the sword and bits of charred fur.
Leo looks at the explosion through binoculars. "It's destroying everything in its path... Though getting slower..." Ami walks over to Leo and puts her arms around Leo. "Why does this remind me of ID4? And don't worry. You'll get that son of a bitch Alternator! I don't know about saving and restoring the planet... But you'll kick his ass. I know it." "Yeah.. I hope so... I hope so...."
