I did not start out as one, but I used to have a lucky 20-side that never rolled under a 13...except for the occasional fall on your face 1. This used to piss off all the GM's I played under, so they started to purpo ely make the games harder for me. The end result was I learned how to manipulate the rules to make munchkins. I guess it is kind of like reverse munchkinism. Of course I am not arogant about it, and I still work for the good of my party rather than my own characters needs. This means I have pleased the Gm's on several occasion by biting the bullet (literally) for the safety of one of my group. I consider myself a true gamer in that I always follow my alignment even if it means PC death or worse, the disda n of my fellow players. Anyways, now I have been forced to GM all the time since the others have moved away, so now its my turn to munchkin hunt. And being a former munchkin, I know which tricks to use.....a little hint for GM's having problems with the " ou can't hit me" munchies...try area affect weapons b/c even with successful dodge, they still take half damage. Oh I love your site. Keep yp the good work, and if you are ever in need of a munchy killer hint gimme an email and I will send what I know....maybe it will actually help. |

I loved the anti-munchkin files! One way we used to get rid of a Mega Juicer Munchkin was NPC's. The M pushed around the group and eventually sent his juicer of to adventure on his own.(which really pissed of the GM). So as a favor to everyone, the GM decided that my PC, a Pretender from the "great OCC/RCC net book" could go after him. So I had my charcter hack into all the major computer networks that time and the GM would allow and changed the bounty of one man for the Munchkin. Needless to say this was accessed by and faxed to A LOT of people and the munchkin had no idea why all of a sudden he had become a target. Incidently the bounty stated that he was on last call and was a dan er to those around him and so a friendy group of cyber-knights blew him away with a variety of plasma and particle cannons.(heh heh heh) |
