Bond News is as follows for today: 'Tommorrow Never Dies' will be released on November 17 on video for retail. The new bond movie, which is still untitled, will be released on November 19, 1999. It is rumored that the title of the next Bond movie will be 'The World is Not Enough'. It is also rumored that the villian of Bond 19 will be played by the same actor who played Valentin. (God help us if so) Raymond Benson, who has been writing Bond novels and is considered the 'next Ian Fleming' by many, has announced the next Bond book to be 'High Time to Kill'. Michael Apted will be the director of Bond 19....and Q has once again decided to appear. Reports say that Bond will stop the villian from creating havoc at the millenium dome in London. Reports say that Bond's new girl may be named 'Christmas'.....Hmm... The title of the new Bond movie has been confirmed. It is 'The World is Not Enough'. Freddie Young, oscar-winning cinematographer of 'You Only Live Twice' died yesterday, Dec. 4, 1998. He will be missed. BMW has just released a new car that looks as if it was designed just for Bond. It will probably be the leading canidate for the next Bond car. Bruce Feirstein has been hired to rewrite the script for 'The World is Not Enough'. He has previously done 'GoldenEye' and 'Tomorrow Never Dies'. Denise Richards and Sophie Marceau have been cast as the next two Bond girls. Marceau will play a girl named 'Elektra King'. Q's actor is staying for 'The World is Not Enough'! Rugby star Jonah Lomu is being considered for one of the villians' henchmen in 'The World is Not Enough'.... In the first revealed publicity posters for Bond 19 (which the film was called on the posters) has shown Bond holding a Walther P99.....Hmm.... The top selling DVD title of 1998 was Tomorrow Never Dies.... Rugby star Lomu has turned down the offer made. The villian for 'The World is Not Enough' has been cast as Robert Carlyle. John Cleese, best known for his work in Monty Python skits, will play a part known only as 'R'.... Although 'Tommorrow Never Dies' will be on Playstation, Nintendo has the license for 'The World is Not Enough' already! Danish actor Ulrich Thomsen will play a villian in 'The World is Not Enough'. He will be the head of security for Elektra King. Mr. Thomsen is best known for starring in the movie 'Festen', which is translated 'The Celebration'. He was also nominated for a British film award. Judi Dench, actress currently potraying M in James Bond movies, won an Oscar last night (3-21) for her work in the movie Shakespeare in Love. Congratulations, Judi! Raymond Benson has finally finished his book, High Time to Kill. It arrives in British bookstores in May, and is supposedly Benson's most thrilling yet. In the book, Bond is pitted against the Union, a group similar to SPECTRE. Interesting.... UGH! Sporty Spice has been signed up in a controversial deal supposeably worth quite a bit of money to sing the next Bond theme song for 'The World is Not Enough'. Is nothing sacred? ] Well, it's gotten a little better. MGM has confirmed that the band Garbage is going to be doing the theme song for Bond 19. Previous hits of Garbage are 'When I Grow Up', 'Special', and 'Push It', on their album V.2.0. Pierce Brosnan is getting MARRIED! Sorry gals, he's marrying Keely Shaye Smith, a telejournalist. Congratulations to both of them! HAHA! Kevin McGlory has been foiled! The Federal Judge has dismissed his claim to the James Bond franchise.
