Can a wrong phone call change your life? Well for Keiichi Morisato it sure did. While dialing for some take out food, Keiichi accidentally dials the wrong number and was put through to the goddess help line. A few moments later, a goddess, by the name of Belldandy, appears through a mirror and offered Keiichi a wish. Keiichi, believing that his room mates were playing a joke on him, wishes that a beautiful goddess like Belldandy would stay by his side forever. So the wish was granted and Keiichi's ordinary life was thrown into chaos. The "Ultimate Forces" began working to keep Belldandy and him together forever. Firstly he is thrown out by room mates for breaking the rule of have a girl in the men's dorm. They move into an abandon old temple, which Belldandy fixes up using her magical powers. The two of them live peacefully in the temple until they are later joined by Urd, Belldandy's older sister. Urd can no longer return to the heavens after she caused a "system malfunction" and decides to stay with Keiichi and Belldandy. Skuld, Belldandy's younger sister, was lonely up in the heavens all by her self. She decides to comes down to Earth to try convince Belldandy to return to heaven with her. Belldandy decides to keep the promise she made and stays with Keiichi. Since Belldandy isn't going back to heaven, Skuld decides to stay also. With three goddesses staying with him, Keiichi’s life will surely never be the same.
