michael- 100% last song is a drama that has the most profound way of expressing love that i've ever seen... the beautifully written story + the humor + the quality of the actors n actresses really made the drama ichiban Bolei- 80% good one episode series but sucked as a whole. each episode can be standalone. there is nothing to join each episode. however, i find it intellectually stimulating when the two characters, the prof and the jilted guy discussed about love in general. definitely not for one who is looking for some laughs or some love-story type. this is a different genre altogether. i doubt it would be well received because it went against the popular genre. very moody. the discussions of love is the only good thing of the whole series. Cheong Chu Lei- 95% At the beginning of the dorama, it was quite funny and romantic but towards the end, it starts to become both touching and sad. On the whole, a nice show for you to both laugh and cry! Katy Lin- 100% Loved the whole entired dorama soundtrack. A great cast to watch too! Happy happy! =) Bolei- 90% amazingly, it was one of the better shows that i have watched. the two characters are interesting and both actors brought that out fully. the plot was one of the love genre again which had been used too often. saburo- 93% The number-one drama of all time, by acclimation. Very good performances of excellent dialogue. Warm, intelligent, and definitely uplifting. This show also had, by far, the most satisfying series conclusion. The show was somewhat truncated in American releases by Fujisankei so purists may want to seek out original program tapes or video releases. Joey Ee- 83% Fantasitic drama! The plot might be a little bit old, but the dialouge is very well-written and touching. The music of this serial is the best to date, and after watching it, I really feel like taking piano lessons! I do not like Kimura Takuya at first, but now I find him quite cute. All thanks to Long Vacation! Winnie- 100% it was the best "love" show ever. The ending was so cute, to the point of tears. I honestly love this show. I also have to say that kimura Takuya is the best male actor around nowadays. May- 100% I am a total fanatic when it comes to Long Vacation. I love this drama so very much! it was my first and also my favorite! i think that it is the best drama ever to be made! the plot, actors, music are all so magnificent! this drama is simply brilliant! May- 48% i really didn't like this, was very disappointed when i watched it. Takuya and Matsu have no chemistry. i didn't understand Matsu's character in the drama, felt she was very annoying. and the story.....*sigh* Bolei-50% sorry to be harsh here but it is a total rip off from tokyo love story. same setting, office. same type of story...guy meets girl...falls in love, guy got problem with another girl, original girl leaves him, guy goes to hometown to find her...etc...only the ending is different which kind of makes it hard to swallow after watching an excellent love story like tokyo love story.
