personal info: Sorimachi was originally recruited by the (in)famousJohnny Jrs, but escaped early in his career. He modelled for the magazine, Men's Nono, before he started getting noticed in dramas such as Miseinen, and Kimi wo wasurenai. In 1997, his singing debut, Forever, enlisted the aid of Richie Samborra. It made not only the theme song to the dorama Beach Boys, but a tremendous j-pop hit as well. As did the dorama.
