Hi! I've been a jpopper since I was a child, I used to listen to Matsuda Seiko, Kondo Masahiko, Nakayama Miho, Koizumi Kiyoko, Kudo Shizuka..., but now, I'm kind of addicted to it. The main reason is a group called ZARD, does anyone ever heard of it? :) The first time I heard ZARD was in 94 when my sister brought to me a tape that she had recorded from a friend. In it, there were two ZARD songs: Yureru Omoi and Just For You, with the Karaoke version for both.

I think I don't have to tell you that I started singing the songs and was madly looking for the name of the singer of that songs. I finally discovered that was Izumi Sakai's voice when a friend lend me the album Yureru Omoi. I imediately recognised the song and the singer. Well, that time, I had borrowed four ZARD's albuns: YURERU OMOI, HOLD ME, OH MY LOVE and MOU SAGASANAI. I didn't know why, but I could listen to the CDs for hours and hours and was never tired of listening to them. Now I know it's because of the lyrics, all Izumi's songs describe situations that I've been through, or show feelings I'd like to show, but I don't know how. I think that's why I feel good after I sing ZARD's songs (I like karaoke, but usually, I sing at home, alone)

Since 95 after my sister had came back from Japan, and brought me some CDs, I started to listen to more jpop songs but last year, I discovered how I like jpop. I'm associated to two jpop rental shops here. Last year (96) I started my jpop tapes collection (as buying japanese CDs is quite expensive here). I think I have about 250 tapes and more than 2000 lyrics. If anyone is interested in reviews (of old albuns and also new one's), just ask me.

I'm living in Japan now. So, you can imagine, how my jpop collection has increased. Actually I bought most of the singles and albums that I wanted ;))) I'll try to make a list of all that I've got in CDs... it may take a looooong while though. Tanoshimi ni shite ne!

As you can see, my jpop world isn't made of ZARD only, I have the most various stuff here. My favorites are: DEEN , Field of View , WANDS , BARBIER (whose most songs are ZARD song's in English Version!), Mr. Children, The Checkers, My Little Lover, Fukuyama Masaharu, Fujii Fumiya,Ohguro Maki, Amuro Namie, Matsuda Seiko, Nakayama Miho , Okamoto Mayo, Utoku Keiko.

As I told you, I'm in Japan now so I was able to get to know some new singers and groups like KIRORO and The Brilliant Green. I was also able to follow some dramas and I just found out that I like them! ;)
