Tenchi was a normal teenager until his curiousity got the better of him and he
awoke the demon Ryoko from the cave(See Ryoko's page here).
after awakening Ryoko(and her trying to kill tenchi!), Ayeka, Sasami
Ryo-oh-ki, and Mihoshi appear for several reasons.
Since then, tenchi has found our that he is part of the royal family on planet Jurai Since is Grandfather was the legendary
Yosho. Tenchi has the master key, the sword that only kin
of the Jurai royal family can use.
Aside from strange beings from space after Tenchi's sword, Tenchi also has to fight off Ryoko's and Ayeka's affection towards him and their hatred of each other.
