- here is the link to the japanese network that will be showing MAX's new drama. http://www.tv-asahi.co.jp/ There's nothing yet, but as soon as i find something, i'll let you know. i'm hoping that it'll be so big that it'll be subtitled and broadcast in San Francisco like "Long Vacation", "Virgin Road" and "Heaven's Coins"
- just toying around with the idea of having a contest. Prize might be a tape with both moves, the '97 concert and some television appearances of MAX...
- Mina is still sooooooooooooooooooooooo cute.

- MAX is currently on tour in Japan for '98 and from Avex's source, the title is...(taking a DEEP breath, holding back a shudder)...ahem...MAX LIVE CONTACT 1998 "max up your life". oh man, pleaase don't go there. MAX is sooooooooooo much more talented than those...ugh...can't even say it. They sing, dance, dress, LOOK, act so much better than those rejects. Ever look at Baby Spice's platforms? MAX was wearing that two years ago huh? (And they still danced better.) And Posh's new hair??? Nice try, it looked 50 times better on Lina LAST YEAR! Man, if MAX comes out here in the US, i hope people don't think that they're copies. But i digress, i have been "maxing up my life" since 1996 and i can't wait to see their new routines for the slow songs. And i think that i should open up another section for my rantings. What do you think?
- someone asked me for a chance to write a MAX fanfic? ok, sure. i know this person, and they're a good writer. i think i'll ask for a MAX vs. Spice Girls one first...heh heh. (did you see "Give Me a Shake-Ladies MAX 2"? Reina is one tough cookie...)
- if i offended any visitors with my Anti-Spice Girls remarks, let me know. But that's just how i feel...

- rumor has it that Tomomi Kahala will take Namie's place(due to Amuro's pregnancy) for the SUPERMONKEY's reunion. Does this make sense? Tomomi Kahala=Supermonkey...no.
- another rumor is that MAX may release an album in the US???

....ready??? Here we go...Today i found out that MAX will FINALLY releasing a collection of their music videos, from "Tora Tora Tora" up to "Shinin'on-Shinin'love"!!!!!!!!!!!

My thoughts on the Supermonkey reunion
...At first, i was a little saddened by the news. i mean, as soon as Amuro came back in, the other four would fade back into the background again. We finally got to hear how talented my dear Mina really was. i've heard how lonely Namie was feeling and it would be good to see her with her dear friends but it shouldn't be a permanent thing. They have their own careers now, and should continue to pursure their individual success. It should be like the "New Edition Reunion" cool, but not forever. Just look at how good they did on their own. It's kinda funny seeing how both Namie and MAX eventually left the sound they started together. Things are better this way. During the reunion, it would be good to hear Mina sing "Sweet 19 Blues" (my favorite Namie song), Reina sing "Try Me", Lina sing "Can You Celebrate", Nana sing "A Walk in the Park", and Namie sing "Give Me a Shake". Hmm...interesting, but only temporary.
