ZOS Stages Revision 1.1

Stage One
Your thoughts occasionally turn to Zelgadis, and you have strange
urges to watch The Slayers more than you usually would.
Stage Two
You begin to realize that when you watch The Slayers you pay more
attention to Zelgadis than you do to anything else. You show your
friends The Slayers videos.
Stage Three
Your thoughts now turn to Zelgadis related thoughts, and would like
to meet him in real life, and you begin to look for Zelgadis related
sites on the Internet. You also tell your friends all about Zel, and
make them watch the videos with you so you can show them Zel. You think
he's "cute."
Stage Four
You don't care what he looks like. You begin to spread the word of
Zelgadis to everyone, and you try to get your friends hooked to Zelgadis
too. You imagine having conversations with Zel. Case study: Psi-Amy.
Stage 4.5
You want Zelgadis for a boyfriend.
Stage Five
You now act out the conversations. You begin to think that Zelgadis
actually WAS there. You also go into denial. You can't think about
anything but Zel, and begin to cast "Dragon Slave" and other Slayers
related spells. You get your friends hooked, and you now want to go out
with Zel. In simple terms, you're obsessed with Zelgadis. Case Studies
include Amy's friend, "Schala".
Stage Six
You create a web page worshipping Zelgadis.
Untreated, ZOS can lead to other problems such as short attention spans,
problems with boys (You don't like them cause they just aren't Zelgadis)
and possibly liking bad animation due to clouded mind/judgement.
