"The Sword of the Rose!" Anshi entones. "In me sleeps the power of Dios! Lord, affirm this power now... let it come forth!!"
Anshi cups her hands to her breast and a magical glow surrounds her, and then the hilts of the Sword begin to appear, rising from her. Kyouichi grasps the hilts and draws the Sword from her breastbone, crying "The power of world revolution!"
The blade of the Sword gleams in the light, glistening off its
razor-edge. Kyouichi's eyes blaze as he ducks a blow, and then
Utena gasps as she sees his Sword slice effortlessly through her
bamboo shinai!
"This is the Sword of Dios, and no mere blade can challenge it." Kyouichi gloats. "He who fights with this Sword will emerge victorious - and the prize is Himemiya Anshi!"
Utena is bewildered by all of this talk. "I am merely a friend of Wakaba, fighting on her behalf!"
Anshi frantically speaks up. "Saionji-sama - this person truly appears to be a stranger -"
"Shut up!" Kyouichi roars, and strikes Anshi. "You are my property, my possession, even though..." He trails off for a moment. "BE SILENT!"
Unknown to them, a silent figure approaches the top of the stairs. It is Kiryuu Touga.
Utena has about had enough of Kyouichi, and again takes a stance against him; he jeers at her, asking her how she will fight with a broken weapon. For a moment she seems unsure, and then, as Anshi bows her head into her hands to hide her eyes, Utena gives a great cry and rushes toward Kyouichi and his blade!
