Mokuren (Sakaguchi Alice):
Mokuren is a very beautiful, witty, and smart woman. Because of this, she is loved by most of the male scientists, but she is
devoted to Shion, who is very jealous.
    She works as a biologist on the Moon Base.
    Mokuren was separated from her family when she was very young, because of her special abilities. She came to an instution,
called Paradise, where she was raised. Mokuren didn´t like the life on Paradise, and she gained rather quickly the reputation
of being a troublemaker (yes, that sweet Mokuren...).
    Mokuren is what the aliens call a Kichess, a short form for Kiche Saajarim. The Kichess have the power to talk to plants
and animals, and even foretell the future, and they are marked with four red dots on their foreheads. A Kichess is however very
unusual. Only one in a hundred million or so is born with this special power.
    Mokuren´s only wish is to be loved like a normal woman, and she finds that Shion does just that, even when she causes
trouble by singing when she is depressed (often around plants), which causes them to grow, grow, and grow.... The rest of the scientists spend a lot of time to cut the computers and he rest of the equipment loose from all the branches and weeds.

Mokuren´s seiyuu (voice actor) is Shinohara Emi. Emi has done a lot of popular voices, such as the beautiful blacksmith Presia (Magic Knight Rayearth), and the one and only Kino Makoto/ Sailor Jupiter (all the SailorMoon flix).

Does Mokuren have any ESP (Extra Special Powers)? Yes, she has. As a Kichess, Mokuren has the ability to talk to plants and animals, and to see into the future.
 

     Shion (Kobayashi Rin):
Shion is a very quiet and mysterious man. He is very protective over Mokuren, who he would give his life for.
    Shion works as an engineer on the Moon Base.
    Shion is born and raised on one of the moons of the alien motherworld, instead of the alien motherworld, which the rest of the characters come from.
    When Shion was very young, his homeplanet was torn by war and famine. He didn´t even know his real parents, he had never seen them, and because of this, his childhood memories are painful and bitter.
    The reason that Shion came to the alien motherworld, is that he once had to kill, in order to protect himself. After he did this, he was taken care of by some nun-like women who took him to the alien motherworld, mostly because of his phsycic abilities. The alien motherworld, however, was almost too peaceful for the moody Shion to live in, which made him a problemchild.
    When Shion finally gets to the moonbase, he gets bitter and resentful. He has difficulties trusting the other scientists on the Moon Base, and that creates friction between the others. Even so, Shion and Gyokuran were friends since childhood, but Shion´s jealousy makes the two drift further and further apart. apart.

Shion´s seiyuu is Hayami Sho. Sho has a very nice voice, who he has put on; Maximillian Jenius (Macross/Macross 7), and Hideki (Devil Hunter Yohko)
 
Does Shion have any ESP? Yes, he has. Shion has the ability to levitate things, and make electric energy spheres. Rin has the same abilities as Shion, as a matter of fact, they haven´t reduced a bit. He seems awfully strong too ^^;;

 
     Gyokuran (Ogura Jinpachi):
Gyokuran is a very calm man, not like Jinpachi turned out to be, he is much calmer than Jinpachi.
   He is very intelligent, and he is a true gentleman. Even so, he is a little moody, and tend to lose his temperament very easy.
    He works as an archeologist on the Moon Base.
    As already stated, Gyokuran is a childhood friend to Shion, but as they grew older, they drifted further and further apart. Now, on the Moon Base, all the attempts to make up with Shion are a waste. Gyokuran´s friendship towards Shion is only to be met with anger, cynicism, and ungratefulness.
    Gyokuran is romantically involved with Enju, but he feels even stronger affection towards th mysterious andbeautiful Mokuren. He comforts Mokuren when the other scientists may get mad at her because of her singing, like the true gentleman he is, but Mokuren doesn´t respond to his attemps, she thinks that Gyokuran´s affection for her is based on the fact that she´s a Kichess, so Gyokuran´s love is doomed to be one-sided forever.

I´m TERRIBLY, TERRIBLY sorry to say that I don´t know the seiyuu of Gyokuran! Gyokuran isn´t starring that much in the anime, I even think that he doesn´t even speak... (that sure could explain things...^^;;)

Does Gyokuran have any ESP? Yes, he has. Gyokuran had to wear special earrings that helped him to control his very powerful and whimsical ESP (he cried when Shuukaidou pierced him....). Gyokuran has the ability to move things by focusing on them, much like Jinpachi.
 

     Enju ( Nishikiori Issei):
Enju is the most feminine of all the women on the Moon Base. She  is a very quiet and shy woman, and she cares deeply for all the others.
    She works as an anthropologist on the Moon Base.
    As already stated, Enju is head-over-heels in love with Gyokuran, but she is saddened from the bottom of her heart that Gyokuran doesn´t show her as much affection as he shows Mokuren. She suffers in quietness because of this.
    Enju´s love for Gyokuran started in their student days. He was the main reason that Enju signed up for the Moon Base. When she first noticed that he already signed up for the project, she couldn´t dream of being without him, so she went.
    When Gyokuran dies as number one of the mysterious decease, Enju gets very introverted. The only one she confides in is Shusuran, who is deeply worried for Enju´s sake.

The seiyuu of Enju is Takamori Yoshino. I don´t know what other voices she has done, except for Enju, unfortunately..

Does Enju have any ESP? Yes, she has. As stated by Sakura in the second episode of Boku-Chikyuu, Enju was a rather strong telepath. That´s why Issei could share his dreams with Jinpachi on Earth.
 

     Hiiragi (Dobashi Daisuke):
Hiiragi is the leader of the Moon Base team. He is very dependable and calm, but whenever something goes wrong, he blames himself.
    Hiiragi works as a linguist on the Moon Base.
    As already stated, Hiiragi is a very calm person, he often told the rest of the group to calm down.
    The women on the Moon Base had Hiiragi as their secret idol, he often reacted very comical in different situations, which made the female scientists to relax and to flee frrom their daily lives by laughing a bit. Hiiragi who was a very seious person, was never aware of this though.
     When the virus struck the scientists, taking them to an early grave, Hiiragi did his best to keep the group together, even though he had his own problems, mostly caused by him by blaming himself for "not going to Earth in time".

Hiiragi´s seiyuu is Tobita Nobuo. I don´t know what other roles he has done exept for Daisuke, it´s hard to find anything about him.

Does Hiiragi have any ESP? No, it doesn´t seem like it.
 

     Shusuran (Kokushou Sakura):
Shusuran has been Enju´s friend ever since their schooldays. Because of this, she´s very aware of the odd relationship Enju is sharing with Gyokuran, and she is saddened that there´s nothing she can do about it.
    Shusuran works as a physical scientist on the Moon Base.
    Shusuran is a rather calm and logical person, and she often cracks ideas that none of the others thought of.
    She is extremely amazed with Mokuren and Shuukaidou´s affection for Earth.
    When their homeworld is destroyed by the interstellar war that rampaged in their solarsystem, she gets very nervous and scared, always clinging on to Enju for comfort, but she is even comforting Enju after Gyokuran´s death.
    One thing that Shusuran wants the other scientists to notice, is that the Moon Base has equipment to take over Earth, if needed.
 
The sieyuu of Shusuran is the same one who does Sakura, Matsui Naoko. Naoko often play a high-pitched character, but other than that, she has done the voices for; Liqueur Katsumi (Silent Moebius), and Leska/Café au Lait (VS Knight Lamune & 40 Fire).

Does Shusuran have any ESP? No, it doesn´t seem like it.
 

     Shuukaidou (Kasama Haruhiko):
Shuukaidou is a very careful man, but his carefulness doesn´t help himself from Shion´s jealousy.
    Shuukaidou works as a medical doctor on the Moon Base.
    He has strong feelings for Mokuren, I guess she knows, but ignores it, but he is still very intimate with her, by having the same affection as she has for Earth. By having a reason to talk to her, Shion gets more and more irritated with him.
    Shuukaidou is very jealous of Shion, he thinks that he doesn´t deserve Mokuren.
    When the virus takes out one after another of the scientists, Shuukaidou starts to plan his revenge on Shion, a revenge he will never forget. By tricking Shion to belive that Mokuren is injected with the vaccine, he starts a conflict between the two that will get back at him... somehow...
 
The seiyuu of Shuukaidou has a w-i-d-e range of different voices, and his name is Matsumoto Yasunori. Yasunori has done a lot of great voices, such as; Dick Sauser (Dragon Half), and Hayawaka Mitsuru (Kimagure Orange Road).

Does Shuukaidou have any ESP? This little issue is really bothering me. Haruhiko is a rather strong ESP;er, and that ability doesn´t leave Alice/Mokuren, Rin/Shion, Jinpachi/Gyokuran, or Issei/Enju... It stayes and grows stronger in some cases. I think it´s odd that Shuukaidou doesn´t show any signs of ESP in the anime... Maybe he doesn´t have any, but something awakens in Haruhiko.... To get to the point; Shuukaidou doesn´t have any ESP.
