 Crime Story is based on a real life event in Hong Kong concerning the kidnapping of a Chinese businessman. Jackie Chan plays a policeman assigned the job of tracking down the kidnappers, unaware that his partner is also a villain. Blazing through incredible stunts, car chases and brutal brawls (not forgetting the heart attack victim brought back to life using jump leads and a revved up car engine!) we see Jackie the maverick cop going full throttle to bring this case to its final and bloody conclusion. Dedicated to the many Hong Kong police officers who died in the line of duty investigating kidnapping related cases. |
