Spice Puzzle
I
keep getting more Spicy gifts from people! Cat gave me this one,
and boy is it ever cool. How do the Spice Girls come up with such
interesting products? This thing is called a "Jigsaw Puzzle."
It's a brilliant concept, and I'm sure many toy companies will leach off
the Girls' invention once they see it. The goal is to take the "puzzle
pieces" (pictured above, right) and assemble them into the picture on the
front of the box. Sound easy? Well, it isn't, because the pieces
are in a COMPLETELY RANDOM ORDER!! You have to do your best to make
order out of this Spicy pandemonium.
Spice Shirt
Do
you have any friends that just ROCK? Well, I do, and that's how I
got this great Spice Shirt. My friend Kel in North Carolina got it
for me at Target. Can you believe something as quality as this could be
found in a discount store like that? Well, who cares really, because
now it can be yours! Go out and get one soon before they sell out.
Now that I have posted this about it, they won't last long because everyone
visits this site at least 239847298347928374982734 times a day.
Spice World: The Movie
If
you happened to miss this in the theatres because you were horribly ill,
you can now buy it! If you hurry and get one soon, there will be
a Spice World poster included inside. It has the same picture that
is on the cover of the movie, and makes a great addition to any room.
The movie itself was FABULOUS! They were all really funny, and you
couldn't tell at all that this is their first attempt at acting.
Academy awards: here comes Spice!
Spice Mug
I
picked up this beauty in Cologne, Germany. Boy, North America is
really getting short-changed when it comes to Spice Products. When
I went into the German grocery store where I bought this, I found a HUGE
display of Spicy products I had previously only dreamed of. They
had Spice-Notepads, fake Spice-Phones, and an array of Spicy shirts.
Anyway, I'm glad I stopped in that store and got this mug. It said
on the package the mug was only available in Germany, so I felt quite lucky.
You'll have to pry this from my cold, dead hand if you want it.
Spice Ring
This
luxurious item has been on my want-list for a while now, so I finally splurged
and got myself one. I realize you can't see it very well in this
picture, but it's a gorgeous piece of jewelry. A faux-silver ring
beautifully showcases a small circular picture of your favorite Spice Girl.
I chose Emma this time around.
Collectible Spice Stickers
Panini
has worked their magic once again when they released this "Fab Five" series
of collectible Spice Girls stickers. There is an accompanying book
for you to put the stickers in, so you can display them to all your envious
friends. The content of the stickers varies widely from in concert
pictures, to behind-the-scenes images. There is also a series of
stickers featuring pictures from the Spice Girls movie.
Spice Sucker
This
is a push-up style lollipop that makes eating candy easy and fun.
There is a cap you can put back on the top if you want to save some for
later. That way you won't get dirt on the candy if you put it in
your pocket. Or, you can simply attach the item to your shirt, since
there is a clip on the cap as well. They come in several flavors,
and you can choose the one with your favorite Girl on it.
Spice Dolls
Wow,
this item is HOT! I searched for weeks, but everywhere I went these
dolls were sold out. Even Toys R Us was Spice-less. Despite
the frustration this caused, it was reassuring to see that the nation still
has SPICE-FEVER. Anyway, I happened to see the Ginger Spice and Sporty
Spice dolls at Blockbuster video a while back. To tell you the truth,
they were a little disappointing. They looked NOTHING like the actual
Spice Girls. I found out later that the Sporty Spice doll is actually
the hardest one to find. I don't understand how Sporty could be popular
in any way. She will always be Nasty Spice in my eyes. Here
in the picture you can see them all. Obviously, the clothing and
hair are fairly accurate, but the faces are all wrong, especially Geri's.
The only one in this picture that looks remotely close to the real thing
is Scary Spice. I recently had the privilege of finding the Scary
Spice doll. If you would like to see a report on her, all you have
to do is Click Here.
Spice Gum
You
should be able to find this gum in any major convenience store. The
gum is actually not that bad, you just have to get rid of it before it
loses its flavor. But it's not rock-hard like most trading-card gum.
It comes with the collectable stickers pictured here. See the one
on the left of Victoria? I hope you like that one, because if you
buy this gum you will see it about FIVE FRIGGIN' THOUSAND TIMES!
My counterpart and I have tried to collect them all, but gave up in the
sea of Victoria stickers that was produced. (Can you imagine anything
more embarrassing than going into a store and buying 85 pieces of Spice
Gum? I can't)
Spice Photos
Now
this is a REALLY cool product. These are also available in most convenience
stores. It's just a package of 8 "photos" of the Spice Girls.
The package is the first thing pictured on the left, so that's what to
look for, kiddos. Next, we see the Girls posing with some guy.
I assume its a fan or something. And after that we see Victoria,
Emma, and Mel B. hanging out on the couch (probably after a great show).
It's a real testament to the Spice Girls for allowing these pictures of
their personal lives to be available for all. They really care about
their fans.
Fantasy Ball
Yes,
you are reading that correctly, Fantasy Ball. What that means in
layman's terms is "lollipop". But it is much more than that.
They come in the hi-tech packaging pictured here, which has the look and
feel of something the astronauts might take into space. I would pay
the 39 canadian cents just for the packaging alone, but there's candy and
a sticker inside too! These lollies are like none I have ever seen
before. As you can see in the picture, the lower half is dark (red),
and the upper half is clear, exposing the decorated gum inside! The
lollipop is really good, and the gum is delicious. On the gum, you
will either find images of your favorite Spice Girl, or the title of one
of their SMASH HIT songs! Fantasy Ball comes in multiple flavors
too. I have only tried the strawberry, but I have seen orange out
there too. Don't miss this one, people. Trust me, Fantasy Balls
are what life is all about.
Unauthorized Biography
Unfortunately,
there are some people in this world who try to capitalize on the success
of others. The makers of "Girl Power: Unauthorized Biography of the
Spice Girls" should hang their heads in shame. This video had me
screaming in agony by the end. DO NOT rent, buy, or view this
product!
First of all, the same music is used for the ENTIRE hour
long video, and its not even Spice Girls music. They play some generic
dance music. Secondly, they show each bit of Spice Girls footage
about 50 times, and it never corresponds with what the narrator says.
Finally, NOTHING of any interest is discussed by the narrator. In
one segment, he talks for 5 minutes about the kind of marmalade they would
put on their toast. This video is a disgrace, and I implore you to
boycott it, no matter how tempting the Spicy cover may be.
Spicy Store Displays
I
got this beauty from a friend who works at a music store. It's a
giant box used to hold Spice posters. But now I use it to hold all
my videos. Often, Spicy store displays can serve well as alternative
furniture in your home. It adds that special undefinable something
to a room that makes it truly radiate with class and good taste.
