OTAKU OF: The Goddess of Love and Beauty, Sailor Venus

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Think of Axel out of Streets of Rage...and that's who he modelled himself on. (yes, he's that sad)

CHARACTER BACKGROUND: Steele actually started out in Q2World, finally settling in UTWorld where he was a highly respected fighter there. However, after reaching the rank of number one in the UTWorld Champion's league and staying there for over 10 years, he was barred from entering again in order to allow others the chance to win. For three years he remained in isolation, limited to the odd friendly match. But eventually nobody would fight against him, not even to try and pick up a few pointers. To pass the time, he began to search for diversions to keep him occupied. He found Sailor Moon, instantly electing Minako as his favourite Senshi, and by extension the Otaku Wars! For months he kept track of the wars, watching but not participating. Then something inside him snapped and he finally decided to join in. Deep down, he had high hopes for finding more worthy opponents than the amateurs he'd faced in the past...

PERSONALITY QUIRKS: A self-taught marksman and close combat expert. (not that he remembers) Still speaks with a broad Scouse accent, but doesn't speak much actual Scouse any more. Given amnesia after being thwacked on the head by a fast-moving .44 pistol.

STRENGTHS:

• Physically powerful - can KO an average opponent in just a few punches.
• Has an impeccable aim. He can fire from the hip and always hits his target - even though he isn't aware of this himself. (The actual effect of the shot, if it ever happens, is up to the current author)

• Quick-tempered. VERY quick-tempered.
• He won't fist-fight with women or girls, and now he won't shoot them either.
• Doesn't have a hammerspace, so he can't just pull his guns out of nothingness. He has to carry them. (not that it makes much difference considering his limited arsenal)
• Prone to headaches after his skull was fractured by a .44 pistol moving at close to the speed of sound. The headaches vary in intensity from a dull throb (bearable) to powerful enough to cause him to collapse, clutching his head and writhing in agony, and also they vary in duration.

EQUIPMENT: Much of his equipment was lost either during his transition from OtakuWorld to UTWorld or back.

Either way, only the following remains:

• Fists and feet. But can work well with lead pipes, knives, swords, shurikins (ninja throwing knives, as opposed to shuriKEN, throwing stars)...
• .44 pistol and ammo, used for distance shooting. (Note: While his memory has gone, his skill cannot be removed)
• HBM (Heartbeat Monitor) Detects enemy units by their lifesigns. Has a range of 100m. Not infallible. (far from it) Not that he knows how to work it.
• Single-barrelled pump-action shotgun.

PERSONALITY QUIRKS: Wouldn't dream of doing anything nasty to ANY Senshi - not once he's reminded of who the Senshi are, anyway.

All other personality traits were lost as a result of his amnesia.

GOALS: Regain his memories

NOTABLE ALLIES: None that he is aware of.

NOTABLE ENEMIES: None that he remembers. However, *they* will remember him...

AUTHOR'S NOTES Steele is *not*, repeat, *NOT* 100% immortal. He can be wounded, injured, and stuff like that. He still can't be killed, but you can have him break an arm, you can have him break a leg, and you can wound him. Chest wounds are out, as are head wounds, which would kill him, infringing on my rule of not killing him.

Please, please, please, don't do anything major to him (like restore his memory - that factor of major) without consulting me first. Use email, use ICQ, use IRC, (I'm on #afsm, #ow and #fanfics regularly) use whatever else you can think of, (except Yahoo! Messenger or AIM - I don't use either) but please ask me first. Don't just go ahead and do it. Please.
