Goku:Born on the planet Vegeta with the saiyan name Kakarot,Goku is sent to earth to destroy all inhabitants.In his early childhood Goku falls out of his little baby carrier and hits his head loosing all memories of his mission.Goku later trains under Master Muten Roshi and the famous King Kai.Fighting the saiyans Nappa and Vegeta,Goku is injured while the survivers of the battle,Krillian(his best friend scince his childhood) and Gohan(his son) go to the planet Namek to find the dragon balls so they can bring back the great Piccolo.When Goku becomes fully healed he leaves for Namek to help the fighters looking for the dragon balls.When arriving Goku later on defeats the evil Frieza and becomes a super saiyan.Afterwards Goku defeats the bio-enginered fighter Cell and goes to face and beat the great demon Buu.

Gohan:The son of Goku,half saiyan half human Gohan's mother ChiChi thinks that the art of fighting is a waste of time.Gohan must study all the time to fulfill his mothers dream of being a great scholar.During the Raditz saga Gohan is kidnapped to be trained by the great Piccolo.Afterwards he helps in the fight with the saiyans and later goes to Namek to wish back his role model Piccolo.He participates in the battle with Frieza kills Cell and also fights Majin Buu and later marries Videl and has a daughter named Pan.

Piccolo:The son of the evil counter-part of the earth gardian Kame,Piccolo is a being from Namek,a far off planet in another galaxy.At first in the series of Dragon Ball(series before DBZ)Piccolo helps his father Piccolo-Dimoah to try to take over the world but when young Goku defeats Piccolo's father,Piccolo holds a grudge against Goku until the arrival of Raditz(Goku's evil brother) and makes a truce not to fight any more.After Goku's Death Piccolo kidnaps Gohan,Goku's son,to be trained to battle the evil saiyans on their way to earth as they speak.Piccolo dies in the saiyan battle and is not revived until the fight with Frieza.Merged with another Namek named Nail,Piccolo puts up a brave fight until Goku can get out of his recovery tank on Frieza's ship.Piccolo is a great fighter and will be remembered for all his heroic battles.

Vegeta:The cocky prince of the Saiyan race,Vegeta is a very strong fighter.Kidnapped by Frieza at age 6,Vegeta had to obbey his orders until he was premitted to conquer planets on his own.Finally Vegeta excaped with his body gaurd Nappa,and fellow soldier Raditz.After Raditz's death on earth,Piccolo spilled the beans on the Dragon Balls and wich Raditz's scouter transmited to Vegeta and Nappa's scouter.And so hearing this story,Vegeta and Nappa head to earth to find the balls and make their wish for immortality.Killing all the Z-Fighters except for Gohan and Krillian,Vegeta fights Goku.In the battle Goku uses the Kao-Kin technique and shows Vegeta his true streingth.In turn Vegeta goes Ozura and crushes every bone in Goku's body.The battle continued until Vegeta was too weak to fight.In the Frieza saga,Vegeta fights Frieza himself but his attemps are futile and he is destroyed.Before Vegeta dies,he reveals what good he has in him to Goku.Later he is wished back and stays at Capsule Corp. Compound.When the others try to wish back Goku,they find out he is not dead and Vegeta goes to look for him and train in the meantime by stealing Dr. Brief's ship.While on the ship using the Gravitron Machine at 1,000x gravity,Vegeta believes he'll never become a Super Saiyan and builds up enough rage too and DOES become one on the ship.Later Bulma and he are Wed and have to children named Trunks and Bra.Vegeta when confronting Buu,blows up to kill him.Vegeta is an extroidanary fighter.

Future Trunks:Future Trunks aka Trunks was sent back in time by a time machine made by his mother,Bulma.In his time line Goku is dead and the world is in a post-apocoliptic state ruled by andriods.On his mission back in time he was to bring Goku the cure to his heart disease,wich in his time was Goku's cause of death,kill Frieza bot and aid the Z-gang in anything else he could be a service in.On his arrival though,Vegeta is over jealous of Trunks being a Super Saiyan and tries to kill him.Later on though,Vegeta calms his grudge.The only person that knew he was Vegeta and Bulma's son was Goku,for if this secret was ever to be told,the time line would change for the worst,and Future Trunks work would all be in vain.Soon Trunks leaves back to his original time and no one ever knows he and Goku's little secret.Some people get Future Trunks and Chibi Trunks confused,but these are two totally different characters.

Chibi Trunks:Born soon after the departure of Future Trunks,Chibi Trunks is the son of Vegeta and Bulma and brother to his younger sister Bra.Trunks and his best friend Goten,Goku's second son,are always getting into trouble.Trunks turned into a super saiyan at the early age of 8.Sometimes when outmatched by the enemy,Trunks and Goten fuse to become Gotenks.
