Land of Morning Calm, KOREA!!!
I was born in the Republic of Korea which is known as the land of morning calm since the poem, "Land of Morning Calm" written by Sir. Rabindranath Tagore, had published. In his poem, using these simple words, he explained how beautiful Korea is!!! My country has very rich culture and philosophy developed during five thousand years history.
Now, because of the fast growing in economics, Korea became one of the most advanced countries in Asia. The successful 24th Seoul Olympic Games and the coming 2002 Seoul WorldCup Soccer Games (which will be held in Seoul) showed how Korea was developed in a short period to the world.
