I just want to say this is an excellent website with so many resources and links to jin yong. I became addicted to his works after having viewed several tv programs which were based on his novels. Unfortunately my chinese reading skills are poor so I can nly rely on listening and reading some of the english translated version. I wonder if you could perhaps establish some links with some of the tv mini-series which were adapted from jinyong's novels. Anyway, keep up the excellent work and I am sure to be a regular visitor here. MD

Being a great fan of Louis Cha's Novels,

1)it's great to come across this resourceful website;
2)it's sad for me to be so ignorant about how to fully utilize the Web and other hi-techs, e.g. I don't really know what URL means, and was unable to download the screensavers;
3)I'm determined to brush up myself so that a) I can exchange my ideas and appreciation with fellow fans & b) I can help promote Mr. Cha's novels to foreigners;
4)I agree that copyright of Mr. Cha's novels should be protected and am puzzled to have found that it is apparently so easy to "read" all his works in one of the links stated here.

Having said all that, I must say that I'm eager to learn any further steps I can take in support of the above claim(s). Help is desperately needed, although I'll also try my best.

Keep on with your good work!!!

Hello,
This is a magnificent project!
Nicely organized and a great deal of information!
Too bad we fans can't write to the Master directly, but I've always wanted to know why Mr. Cha decided to change the ending to 倚 天 . (Wouldn't it have been better to just let 張 無 忌 and 趙 敏 walk off together? alone?)

Your website is very, very helpful to Jin Yong's admirers. I just recently discover Jin Yong. I remember watching movies based on his books, wondering how these stories can be weave into such a spell- binding work. Now I know they were written by Jin Yong It would be wonderful if your HP can be all translated into English. To bad I can't read Chinese, so anything in English is appreciated. I just finish reading the english translation of, The Book and The Sword, by Mr. Graham Earnshaw. Do you have any lin s to english sites regarding Jin Yong? I think Jin Yong stories are very entertaining and that's about where it stops for me. I try not to involve myself to much with his character, because they don't exist. But it sure relief stress after a hard day's wo k.

How could I criticise this perfect HP! I love Jinyong and I can't let his books go. My favorite book is 射鵬英雄傳 and my favorite character is 郭靖.

Mr. So,

You are doing a great great job.
You are a true Jin Yong fan. I thank you for the resources you compiled otherwise I would not have found them myself.

I was wondering if Jin Yong will allow any of his other novels to be translated in english. I am now reading "Fox Volant of the Snowy Mountain" and it's FANTASTIC!!! I only hope and pray that his existing novels eventually end up translated.

Thanks for the Web page,
Duane

I like the whole idea of this homepage, Sunny. Jin Yong is one of the most populous and influential writer in Hong Kong. I am sure many people, like me, are interested to know more about their beloved writer. Jin Yong not only wrote the stories, he mad the characters alive! However, I feel it is a little pity as he no longer wrote the series of Kung-fu novel any more.

Yup! I cannot agree more. In fact, Dr. Louis Cha also has a low profile. You rarely see him on media, like attending balls or meeting with elite or celebrity. I would say, and I do not mean to offend him, that he is hideous in the social circle and the wr ting field. He is really a "大 俠" -- hard to catch but admirable.

Sincerely
Lover Apple

Surely, the webmaster is not Dr. Louis Cha himself. Unfortunately, the webmaster does not have any means, either verbally or electronically, to communicate with Dr. Louis Cha. In fact, this web site is not affiliated with Dr. Louis Cha in any means. The URL alias "http://i.am/jinyong" has probably decepted you. Sorry for any inconveience caused.
