DATA: Kaji Rouji is a 29 year old man with long hair, and a perminate "scruffy" apearance.

In 2000, Kaji was un-able to attend his class outing due to the Second Impact.

In 2005, Kaji Royuji met Misato Katsuragi and Ritsuko Akagi at the University of Second Tokyo. Misato and Royuji developed a relationship personal relationship that continued until Misato and Ritsuko became members of the Geherin, and then NERV.

Royuji was transfered to NERV Japan after escourting the EVA 02 Production Model from Germany. His position is not quite specified.
