DATA: Misato Katsuragi is a 29 year old female who is 3rd in command of NERV. She is also a briliant tatical officer, and is usualy the field commander for EVA operations.

In 2000, she was with her father at the site of the Second Impact. She was placed into an escape pod by her father when she was injured in the inital explosion. This left both a physical and emotional scar. She was un-responsive for over 2 years.

In 2005, Misato met Kaji Royuji and Ritsuko Akagi at the University of Second Tokyo. The three developed a relationship that continued until Misato and Ritsuko became members of the Geherin, and then NERV.

Misato currently cares for Shinji Ikari and Soryu Asuka Langley.
