Amida Trust Projects include work dedicated to providing humanitarian assistance, counselor training programs, Amida Trust Center in central France, opportunity for members to become involved and create projects of any kind that support the "emergence of Buddhism into the modern world". Psychology and Buddhism Amida Trust is currently developing a communication loop for practicing therapists to share information on the emergence of Buddhist principles into the field of psychotherapy. Women's Issues Members of Amida Trust may begin conversation exploring the possibility of a feminist view of the Buddha Dharma. The Buddha said to explore what we are taught and only through "our own experience" is the truth to be found. Much of what we have learned about the Dharma has been, traditionally, taught by men. Amida Trust is an opportunity for women to become active in making Buddhism live in the modern world so as to serve all beings. The Amida Centre in Central France This is where the schedules will be posted so that those with questions can refer and write to David's E-mail for information regarding retreats and courses at Amida Centre. The Amida Trust Loop (ATLoop) The ATLoop is a continuous source of information available to members with e-mail access. Members are encouraged to share in ongoing conversations on varieties of project topics, personal interests, networking, etc. Conferencing Chat Room The Amida Trust Conferencing Chat Room is intended to be a place wheremembers of Amida Trust can schedule international conferences. At some point we willestablish a weekly conference meeting even if it is just to touch base and share our experiences.
