The Alliance (Galactic Federation)

        The Galactic Federation, commonly referred to as the Alliance, is an allied network of dozens of spacefaring societies. This arrangement allows the Alliance to pool its collective resources, presenting a unified front much more capable of defending its territories than any one world alone. The Alliance ensures member worlds are all equally treated and protected, presiding over trade and territory disputes, funding research and exploration, and policing its combined territory and borders. It has prevented many disagreements from escalating into wars, and has successfully convinced hostiles of the futility of attacking Federation territory.

        The Alliance’s policing and exploratory forces are made up of members of all its affiliated races, either specifically picked for Alliance forces by their regional governments, or specially-trained for the Alliance’s premier force, SpaceFleet.
