Ukyo Kuonji Ukyou is Ranma's "cute" fiancee. When Ukyou and Ranma were 5 years old, Genma promised Ukyou's father that Ranma would marry Ukyou in order to pay for some stolen food from Ukyou's father's Okonomiyaki cart. Genma ran off with Ranma with the Okonomiyaki cart that was going to be used as a dowery. Ukyou was disgraced and vowed to get revenge. She dressed and lived as a boy devoting her life to Okonomiyaki cooking. She found Ranma and fell in love with him. She moved to Nerima and set up an Okonomiyaki resturant called The Ucchan, which is Ranma 's nickname for her.  Back to the main Ranma page
