Starring Drew Barrymore + Dougray Scott
This is a Cinderella Story movie, except that they filmed the movie as if it's the origin of the fairy tale that has been passed on from generation to generation. In the movie, there's no such thing as "fairy godmother", "magic pumpkin", the midnight time limit or anything that has to deal with magic. Unlike the fairy tale, Danielle (Cinderella) is a tough modern woman who loves life (I think). In the movie, it explains why the step-mother hates Danielle so much also. Though Danielle has to live a hard life, she still loves her step-family and appreciate everything around her. Her encounter with the Prince is quite interesting too. The movie is actually pretty good! The costumes are very beautiful. If you haven't watch the movie before, I strongly recomment Drew Barrymore's "Ever After".
