Gunsmith's quotes of the moment...
If you treat people nicely, they will think you are
a) nice, or
b) stupid.
If you live life on the edge,
You'll know when to jump!
Don't waste your life...
Take someone with you when you die.
Get ready for situations with -
Parents, teachers, police, authorities,
government coup d'etats, God, the Devil and
Judgment day
by preparing a relevant speech to absolve yourself of all blame and revise them
from time to time
If life is a bitch, then treat her like one!
(That is take it in your stride and work for the moment
when you can laugh HARD in her face, and she can't do nothing about it.
Of course you could just SLAP the BITCH, but she might have friends!)
Now a nice poem!
Title misplaced...
I am-yet what I am none cares or knows,
My friends forsake me like a memory lost,
I am the self consumer of my woes,
They rise and vanish in oblivious host,
Like shades in love and deaths' oblivion lost,
And yet I am-and live with shadows tossed.
Into the nothingness of scorn and noise,
Where there is neither sense of life nor joys,
But the vast shipwreck of my lifes' esteems,
And e'en the dearest, That I loved the best,
Are strange, Nay rather stranger than the rest.
I long for scenes where man has never trod,
A place where woman never smiled or wept,
There to abide with my creator, God,
And sleep as I in childhood slept,
Untroubling and untroubled where I lie,
The grass below and above the vaulted sky.
Not my poem...
Japanese Haiku.
A Haiku is a short Japanese Poem. You ever like em or think they're rubbish. I think they're cool
The poet I have taken from is Bashoo (1644-94) who spent life travelling and studying
Zen Buddhism. And oh yeah, they do sound better in Japanese...
The General Title for these is On Love and Barley
Clouds-
a chance to dodge
moon-viewing.
Moon-daubed bush-clover-
shh, in the next room
snoring prostitutes.
Come, see real
flowers
of this painful world.
How pleasant-
just once not to see
Fuji through mist.
