ILL MET BY STARLIGHT by Susan Doenime & Mike L. is a sort of 'WhatIf' story where, somewhere in his past, Ranma's life took a darker twist. Be warned, this is a darkfic, but it is a well written and well thought out piece of work. If you don't mind that there may not be a happy ending, then I recommend this for a great read.
