Some Rare Items
from Klaus Rademaker's Collection

Feb 20, 1997
This morning the postman brought me a small envelope from Germany...

I opened the envelope and I found many interesting photos. Klaus did not write the titles on the back of the photos, so I give you only few comments. Probably someone 'll help me!

Exakta IIa, embossed version

The lens number (549900) ends with "V63 - 1". The lens is a Tessar 2,8/50mm
Which is the reason?

Exakta (hidden Varex) VX

If you look at the Gary Cullen's Collection or at the Gary Part II you can find 2 other variants. The name Varex was a T.M. in US so Ihagee, or US importers, had to change the top front.

Display cameras

The lens has no. 000000? While the cameras have, as body number, "A XXX"

First Exas 0

Black bayonet Exas, with ribbed pattern
