My Concert Pieces

My Concert Pieces

All of the pieces in this section are all pieces I have played in previous concert. If you didn't have time to head over and listen to one of the concerts, listen to these, and it will at least be a taste! If you know of any good MIDI sites with a large variety of music, please let me know. I'm always on the look out for other songs I've played! Thank you, and enjoy!!

Jurassic Park Theme-This is the theme from one of my favorite movies!!

Somewhere Out There-Ah, another movie tune!! From the movie "The American Tail"!!

America the Beautiful-Truly a tribute to the USA!!! The only bad thing about this song at our concert is when we were supposed to play Bb, half of us played it B natural!! But it's not like that on this recording (thank goodness)!!

Tequila-One of my personal favorite pieces to perform!! You all know this tune!!!

Sing, Sing, Sing!-I played this one along with the 97'-98' FMS jazz band! It's as fun to listen to as it is to play, trust me!

Take Five-This song has a lot of sentimental value to me. Not only is this my dad's absolute favorite jazz song, but the FMS Jazz Band played this along with the Churchill Jazz Band during our May '98 concert. It's also got a funky "groove", as Mr. Murphy says!

Harlem Nocturn-Another FMS Jazz Band performance piece. In fact, my boyfriend (who plays 1st alto) played the main portion of the song. Needless to say, he loved it, but I had a boring part...=)

Summertime-Yet another FMS '98 Jazz Band performance piece. I love this one, because it reminds me of (what else?!) summer!
