What is NovaMatic?
It is a freeware Win32 program designed to create cool graphic effects known as novas on existing windows bmp images.

Requirements

Windows 95/98/NT
- It will run on any machine that runs Windows95/NT but a Pentium 233 is the minimum recommended, specially for large images. Obviously, faster is much better. The program has not been tested in machines with less than 64 Mb, but it should not have any problem with nomal-sized bitmaps.
- A high/true color display (16-bit, 24-bit or 32-bit) display is NECESSARY to be able to create decent effects. The program will run with any colour depth, but the effect won't be shown nor saved correctly if the machine cannot display enough colours.
- Note: Also, it is important that your input bitmap files are high/true color too.

Q: I can't open the file I just created
A: Be sure you write the extension of the file (.bmp) to the name you're trying to use. For instance, instead of saving to "myimage", type "myimage.bmp". This is caused by the fact that Microsoft made the stupid decision to hide extensions of files by default in its operating systems.

I really don't think that I will be able to release a next version in the near future. However, any suggestions or comments are welcomed.
