-The first order of business was to discuss, and vote on new By-Laws. Members and the Board have motioned and accepted voting by absentee.
-Briefly discussed upcoming increases in Chapter 31 rates, and various problems with the Chapter 31 program.
-Notifying VA/VR members of an upcoming visit by Byron Combs.
-Proposal to published an article in the Pine Needle in order to increase visibility of the organization among UNCP students.
-Don Gersh, VoV Staff Advisor, cordually invited all Voices of Vets members to attend the Chancellors Residence Reception for International students, information will follow..
-Wanda Merical opened the floor for nominations of electing board members.

-The meeting was ajourned at 10:45. Announcement was made as a reminder for the next meeting is scheduled for November 1, 2000 in room 221 of the James B. Chavis Building at 10:00.
